Everyday I eat a little bit of poison.

I think it's starting to work.

Immunity.

Slowly.

Towards the goal.

Indifference.

There are bittersweet benefits when you're no longer active in certain social networks.

Sweet:

You will know who will truly miss you because they seek you out.

Bitter:

The people who you thought will miss you actually won't. Out of sight. Out of mind.

Which makes me want to try to internalize this fully...

I woke up in pain.

This has been quite a frequent occurrence since December.

The past few days my nose bleeds every morning also. Geez.

What the heck is going on?

We'll find out soon.

Contemplating on the past few days that I've avoided other forms of social media, I have come to the conclusion that the friendships that I have forged in the last decade of my life will continue to be the friendships that will probably stay until I am old and gray.

When you suddenly "disappear", your closest friends notice immediately the change.

Mithridates the Great was the King of Pontus from 120-63 BC.

He believed that eating small amounts of poison everyday will help build immunity. It was very effective that it took exhaustive efforts to kill him.

Like him, I take small amounts everyday of an emotional poison hoping to make myself immune someday.
