I tried that. But the file system was corrupted too much to pull or save anything. I couldn't even back it up without errors.

If Recuva can't do it, even after a hard drive wipe, then it sounds like a hardware failure in the drive.

There is another piece of software that I've used, but it's all command prompt based, and it piece meals the files back together.

Recuva should ignore the file system and everything if you dod a quick wipe (not a wipe that writes zeros to the drive, as when you re-write over those sectors is when you actually lose that data).

Yeah the drive had to be fixed. Which I was able to do. It's ok, I can just re-download everything again. My ratios are going to be trashed again however. -_-;;
