Not much really to update...

Let see, Dani slept well.  She woke around 2:00 to eat.  I got Doug out of bed to feed her.  Of course, I listened to the whole thing, but at least I got to stay in bed.  Here is my question...how do you know if they still need to eat at night or if it is just a habit?  At this point, I am pretty sure she does need to ( Read more... )

I've thought about calling, but I have already called twice and went in to talk to the HR Director once. Of course, I didn't ask him the timeline any of those times...stupid me. I just don't want to seem bothersome. I might call next week, if I haven't heard!

Thanks for the pic info. I will try and find it online!

Good luck with the job search!

Eating at night - when Alyssa was 6 months old, I took her to the ped. b/c she was waking non-stop during the night (seriously, the last week before I brought her to the ped., she was up 11 times a night - every 45 minutes). The ped. told me she no longer needed to eat at night anymore based on her age and weight. She said that eventually, they just keep waking out of habit. So I sleep trained her and she never ate during the night again. When Kailey was 4.5 months old and almost 16 pounds, I was told by the ped. that she no longer needed to eat during the night. I sleep trained her but she was still waking 2x a night to eat. I still fed her despite what the ped. said b/c I felt that she was still hungry. But eventually, the 2 wakings turned into 1. Then I just completely nightweaned her over this last weekend.

Hope this helps. :)

Good luck with the job!

I think Dani is just a little bit smaller than Kailey. I don't know if she is ready. She just doesn't eat that much during the day... I wish this was easy!

If it is your style, and you tried to ST her, you might want to let her go at night and see if she'll get herself back to sleep. Usually you can tell by the cry if its a hunger cry or just asking for attention cry.

Thanks! That is good idea. That is pretty much what I did to get her down to one feeding. If she wakes before 2, I just stick her paci in and she goes back to sleep. If she doesn't get rid of the feeding on her own in a few weeks, I'll do the same thing until the waking is gone! :)
