Yay for Fridays!!!!!!

What a truly uneventful week, except for the hickey situation.

Dani sleeping fairly well.  She has been waking between 4-5 to eat.  That is good.  Hopefully that means she will be STTN soon.  I tried to get her to go back to sleep without eating at 4:00 this morning, but she was just too hungry.  I wish she was STTN before I left for Philly.  I am nervous that DH won't wake up.  Oh well, even if he doesn't she might give up and go back to sleep, right?  It might be really good STing for her!

Solids continue to go well. This past week we tried bananas and squash.  Bananas were okay, but she loves the squash!  A couple more days of the squash and then we are going to apples.  I don't think I mentioned it but, we tried peas and she hated them.  She spit them right back out everytime I put them in her mouth.  I still have a jar, so will try again soon.  Once we have tried everything, I might start making my own food.  It sounds cheaper and healthier.

I am at a loss for how much/how often I should be feeding her solids.  I mean, it is not like she eating a ton of formula anyway and I don't want her to fill up too much on solids.  Sometimes I give her a little fruit in the morning, but mostly we just do cereal and a veggie around 4:30-5:00.  I am thinking that in the next week or so, I might bring a jar of a veggie or fruit to daycare and ask them to feed her mid morning. I don't know...

Still no word on the job.  I am bummed out.  DH says I am over qualified, but I totally taking it personally.  I kinda know the HR Director.  It makes me feel like he has an issue with me.  If they don't call me today, I don't think they will call.  The job starts July 1.  Isn't it getting rather late?

DH and I had a teensy arguement last night...  He has an conference in Portland in July.  His bro and SIL live there and we thought it would be a great time for us to go see them.  We told them that we were thinking of coming out to visit.  Well, in the meantime, we had our beautiful little girl and my sis is getting married in Mexico in November.  That means I will have no vacation time (after my trip to Philly for speech) and we don't have a lot of disposable income to buy a $500 plane ticket since we are saving for Mexico.  So, we decided he would go and spend an extra couple days there after his conference.  Well since then, BIL has not been returning his emails or acting excited at all.  Doug things they are a little upset.  I guess I could understand if they are because they always sacrifice so much to fly out here to see us.  They don't have a ton of money, but seem to come out for holidays often.  Anyway, I feel bad about it, he feels bad about it, but what can we do?  I am not missing my sisters wedding. So last night I mention that my sis wants to go dress shopping in Denver, but her FMIL cannot go on a weekend so we will have to go on a weekday (Sis and Mom are teachers, so they will be off for the summer).  I will have 5 vac. hours by July, so I told DH I would just take them to go.  He got pissed saying, "How do I justify that you are taking future vacation for your sis and not my family?  It is like you are choosing your family over mine!"  GRRRRRR!!  It is only 5 hours, and my sister's wedding dress!  After I talked to him for awhile he apologized and just said he was stressed because he doesn't want his bro to be mad.  You know, it is funny, the ONLY thing we ever argue about is family issues!  We both just love our families so much.  I guess I wouldn't want in any other way!

Weekend plans: Saturday:  I am going to get out and plant my flowers and tomatoes!  We usually wait until Memorial Day weekend in case of snow.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  Oh, I pray we don't have a hard freeze after I get my tomatoes out!

Sunday:  My sis and FH are having a BBQ at their house.  Should be fun!

Monday:  Relax!  MIL and FIL are BBQing over at their house!  Fun, but have to hang with psycho SIL!  UGHHHH!

Have a super weekend everyone!
