Ashley, pulling on their ears is a sign of teething (according to our ped - Caroline was doing it like crazy so I called about it).

Love the new pics! Dani is adorable.

I had forgotten about that...hmmmmm...I don't see any teeth coming, but that could be it!

Adorable pictures in that other post. I'm so glad she liked swimming. Hopefully she'll get over her cold. She sounds like she's doing better with the Puffs that J., although it seems like they probably both have the same look on their faces! :)

I think she likes to play with the puffs more than eat them. I NEED to get a picture of her face when I put one in her mouth!

Oh, I am glad I am not the only one!!! I keep thinking it is going to get better, but now that she can sit it is even worse. She does not even like to lie down now!

The Gerber puffs were fun, but scary. I was so scared she was going to choke on one. I know that it dissolves so quickly there is no way she would be choking for very long, but I still freak out about it.

Yaaay for Dani sitting on her own. Don't worry about crawling. She might just go straight to walking. Isaac gets around and tries to crawl but if he had his way, he'd rather stand and take steps. My dad and sister constantly hold him so he can try to walk and he really enjoys it.

I'm so glad she did well in her swimming class. I'm totally looking forward to ours in July. I can't wait to see pics!

So you have been giving her snacks? I was wondering when I can start because I've seen them. Have you tried the sippy cup yet? If that doesn't work, Gerber makes this type of bottle/sippy cup. It has the handles and looks like a sippy cup yet it has a nipple just to introduce it to the babies.

Hello! Ya, we tried the Gerber Puffs. They are kinda fun and it if fun to watch the faces she makes when she eats them! :)

We have a Avent Sippy. It has those two handles, but not nipple. She actually really likes it! Her new thing is drinking out of our glasses though. If she sees that I am drinking she flaps her arms and "asks" me for a sip too. She LOVES it!

I didn't get a chance to reply on the development questions. Here I go:

#1 Isaac is sitting on his own for a few here and there. He started that at 5 months and has not mastered it quite yet. He will be 6 months next week. So I think Dani is doing a great job!
#2 I'm not sure how to answer this since Isaac has not gone thru that quite yet.
#3 Duh I asked you about this in my last comment. We are trying with Isaac and he enjoys it for a while. Then he gets frustrated and wants his bottle. But we are working on it.
#4 I'm doing one in mid-afternoon and will be doing two starting next week.
#5 I'm setting up to try this, this weekend.
#6 If the doc okays it, why not.
