(no subject)
I can't believe it is already Monday!! Where did the weekend go?
Friday: I can't even remember what we did...hmmmmmm...not too exciting, I guess.
Saturday: A pretty lazy day. We hung out at the house, cleaned (Saturday is now our cleaning day) and worked on napping. Dani took a short morning nap (45 mintues) and then slept for 3 hours mid day. I tried to get her to go down again late afternoon, but she only slept like 20 minutes and was SOOOOO cranky when she got up. We had planned a date night because my sister and her FI offered to baby-sit. I felt bad leaving because she was such a grump. Needless to say, they gave her a bath and put her to bed before six. Hee, hee, hee. It kinda made me happy because my sis is forever calling me at 6:15 and asking us to go out to dinner with them and then getting huffy when I say we can't. Now she knows why we can't just drop everything and go out in the evenings. Dani ate twice that night and was up around 6:30.
Sunday: I have a stupid cold, so we decided to ditch church. Instead we went out for Culver's Butter Burgers! Yum! We then went to Sam's Club and to Safeway to get groceries. Dani was an angel. I swear that girl is so cranky when we are stuck in the house all day. She seriously gets bored. She loves to go out and look around. Late afternoon, Nana and Papa came over and woke her from her nap, then Grandma and Grandpa came over to see her. The weird thing is that all of a sudden, she is scared of other people. Nana went into her room to get her out of her crib and she seriously looked at her and started screaming. The only thing that calmed her down was DH holding her. She did the same thing with my parents. Is this normal? Oh gosh, I hope it is just a stage because I don't want her to be one of those kids who won't go to anyone else. I hope she doesn't do it at daycare today. Dani ate once at 1:00 and was up for the day at 5:00. UGGHHHH! It is so much more complicated when she wakes before I am ready for work.
Other than that, not much else is going on. I AM going to apply for the job. Working on updating my resume.
Our 2nd anniversary is coming up...wondering what we should do. We are trying to save for my sister's wedding in Mexico in November, so don't have much disposable income and neither of us have much vacation time. I kinda thinking we might just go camping...I love to camp. I seriously can't believe that it has only been two years! I feel like we have been married forever...was there a life before him and Dani?
