Ahh, what a weekend. Drinking in Oxford on Friday (always good fun) and then catching up with Gus on the Saturday. We ended up meeting a bunch of old college mates and heading off to Reflex - one of a chain of nightclubs about which I had heard many things but which I had never dared visit before ( Read more... )

Nope, have just been incommunicado for a while. However, I have rediscovered LJ so should be keeping in touch with people a bit more nowadays...

Not too bad, all told. Still married, still living and working in London, still a headhunter.

Got married about 18 months ago, to Lizzy (who you may or may not remember). Living in Bristol (the nice bit) and working as an IT project manager. Have lost about 3 stone since moving here, quit smoking (I work for a tobacco company, ironically) and have turned into an exercise nut.

Other than that, not much gossip. Don't really go out to the same places as I used to nowadays, though that's partly because I haven't bothered investigating the scene down here much and generally can't be arsed to go all the way up to London at the weekends.

Wow - I just sound *so* motivated at the moment, don't I?
