Don't let this completely disillusion you. Nothing is ever perfect, and you should never think it is from the beginning. But one bad (okay, horrible) judge doesn't necessarily mean the entire organization, or even the concept, of speech as a whole is that way. If you expect anything to be flawless, you will always be disappointed; but if you let the (proportionately) small bad experiences completely ruin all the good ones, all you're doing is cheating yourself and stealing from yourself...and that's not you, babe. You deserve better.
