And, for a fun bit of pop-trivia: Charles Augins (Queeg) is a very famous choreographer in England, and one of Danny John Jules' buddies. In fact, they worked together on a Jim Henson movie back in 1986! You might have heard of it: Labyrinth. Augins was choreographer and both supplied voices and movements for two of the Fierys.

The other choreographer in Labyrinth was Gates McFadden, aka Dr. Crusher on Star Trek The Next Generation.

SERIES III ajrimmer_ssc November 5 2009, 07:23:21 UTC
Now, a note on Series III. Doug Naylor/Rob Grant had been fighting for more creative control for all of I and II, wanting a different art direction but being told it was too expensive. By the time III rolled around, they got a larger percentage of ownership rights and producing credit and a bigger budget, so they rolled out an entirely new direction for the show.

You'll also notice that the format goes from "Dudes In Space Doing Silly Things and Having Silly Conversations" to something a bit more "Monster of the Week." I, personally, love both, but for me, III is where it starts getting great. Many other fans disagree with me, citing I and II as "definitive Dwarf" but wtf, they also hate Chloë Annett!Kochanski so eff them.
