I'm home from Stanford and I'm right back where I left off a little more than a month ago. I would like to think things have changed but everything appears to be exactly the same as it was, I don't know what I expected. Damn, this has been such a cool summer.

I always see my birthday as a clean slate, an automatic set of second chances that I used up during the course of a year but are regenerated every june 22nd. I've always valued the date of my supposed birth because it's usually the last day of school or one of the last days. Fall Out Boy show was really fucking amazing because of the energy of all the people in the room and the energy of the bands. Every single person in the place was singing along to every single song and I guess that made it even more awesome for me. Harry Potter was marvellous. After the movie was over I couldn't stop smiling, it was weird.

I forgot how great the movie I Am Sam is. Beautfiul, wonderful...it's just what great movies are made of. Plus Sean Penn and Michelle Phieffer. It's definitely up there with my favorite movies. Top 30.

I really hope this works. It's just one of my short sweet dreams that I know in the back of my mind will never become reality.
