You can't generalize like that. Life is shit sometimes, on some levels, in some situations, in fact most of the time, but every now and then a rare glimpse of bliss breaks through the clouds, so blindingly brilliant and brief, that the sheer joy of it is intoxicatingly painful. That's why life is a mixed message.
