Hi Allison, you gave the "Subject" answer to the question quoted below:

My response:
For most things I will endeavor to live what I teach. I believe that both of our previous experiences show that this is true. I am, admittedly far from perfection, but, quoting Tomas Merton's prayer to God from his, "Thoughts in Solitude":
"But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I hope that I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road though I may know nothing about it. . ."
However there are somethings where I cannot live what I teach and for those you will just have to trust me. The first that comes to mind is that you should do periodic breast self examinations and get a PAP smear at some recommended regular intervals. Can't teach that one by example. . .
