I have lost track of Lent so much that I forgot Easter is on the 16th of April!
And you sure are very devout for a NT. I don't think my best friend (ENTP) is quite as devout as you are- and she sure is much more than I am. I'm just rebellious and forced religion does not work for me.
I do not believe that "forced religion" works for anyone.
My view of Christianity is that it is focused on relationship with our creator in the person of Jesus. Any devotion that I have is merely a loving response to the one who loved me first and continues to care for me better that I do myself. - And this is something that I have grown in, through spending time in the relationship.
My natural nature is more like that depicted in a Rich Mullins song,
"Surrender don't come natural to me. I'd rather fight you for something I don't really want, than take what you give that I need. And I've beat my head against so many walls Now I'm falling down, Falling on my knees. . ."
