Hey, ya'll, I have to write a stigma paper for sociology, which basically means I observe two different group who are stigmatized (basically negatively stereotyped) for some reason and then I write about them. I need to come up with two groups...and I have no idea what 2 groups to do. I thought maybe some of you might have some ideas. Other ( Read more... )

Does it have to be groups on campus? You could do like the janitoral workers on campus, or in the mall, or something. Most people think they're dumb. Um, you could also do people in a nursing home... or perhaps skateboarders... or maybe the employees of Urban Outfitters (okay, so that might be a stretch).

And P.S. Thanks for seeing BBM without me ya whore deluxe! Looks like I'll be sobbin' alone in the Honey Creek West 8 Art theater, unless I can con Whitney into going with me.

After re-reading my list...so, most of those don't have negative connotations. Taken on it's own though, this list is still pretty amusing.

PS - I want to kick Luke Danes. Did you watch Gilmore Girls this week? Stupid, stupid Luke!

I would totally write about midgets and child stars, but the problem is, we have to do 10 hours of in-person observation...I don't know any midgets or child stars...and I am sad every day...

Yes I did watch Gilmore Girls (I missed last week BAH!), and it made me really mad, but I also feel like the show has completely changed Luke too much...it's like they want to make it easy for Lorelai to just drop him and go back to Christopher...the way he acted doesn't seem like him, the fact that he would have a daughter he didn't know about who lives in the same small town doesn't seem like him. If Lorelai gets with Christopher I will be mad...and also I hate Logan, so if Rory gets with him I will be double mad! Hello...she should be with Marty, he is the perfect mix of smarts, funny, adorable and he's not a rich snob! Wow, what a rant...

Yes, viva le Marty! I heart him. I loved the episode where they went to the Chinese restaurant and Marty couldn't pay, but he wouldn't let anyone else pay for him. I thought that showed a lot of character. Anyway, I want to know what was written in that letter from Lorelai to Rory about Logan!
