Orphan Black not only passes the Bechdel test, the male characters in the show mostly only talk about the female characters. Other shows that can lay claim to passing the Bechdel test wish they could do it as well and as often as Orphan Black does, IMO ( Read more... )

I keep seeing it pop up on my twitter timeline and then I saw a gifset on a friend's blog, so I thought what the hey.

I got through the pilot and I like it so far. I'm definitely curious.

I plan on getting through the episodes so far so I can catch the new one on Saturday.

I know. I know. I KNOW ALL OF YOUR FEELINGS. THEY ARE MY FEELINGS TOO. I have been living with this for WEEKS now. You'll be losing your mind from the wait for the next episode by Wednesday--Thursday at the latest. I live for Saturdays. I'm just wondering how I'm going to cope during the wait between seasons.

Hey, I've ALWAYS said I'm not going to ship anyone, especially after Tyler/Caroline, and then sweet hot sexiness happens on my screen again and I'm fucked. Totally and completely fucked. And I kinda loved it when Paul was being shady, and both he and Sarah were basically being assholes to each other because it was just one potentially angry moment away from there being hate-sex. I wanted to reply to this after I commented on your entry, but the work wifi was being a bitch as usual so I had to wait until I got home.

I was not prepared for Sarah and Paul.

It made a kind of sense when Sarah pounced on him to distract him from asking all those questions about how different she (Beth) seemed, but I was all WHAT WHOA SHE MOVES FAST THIS COUNTER SEX IS UNEXPECTED. LOL! The naked butts and chemistry that went through the roof made me all OKAY THEN I AM INVESTED IN YOU TWO AS A HOT SEXYTIMES COUPLE--until the head bump thing happened and turned me into a pile of mushy goo emotionally invested in them.
