Jin drove his car as fast as he can. He arrived at Kazuya’s house in half an hour. Then he walked to the front door and knocked the door. Kamenashi-san opened the door fast as she was waiting for Jin to come.
“Jin-kun! Yokatta. Come on in.”, Kamenashi-san smiled weakly to him.
Jin bowed and walked inside the house, “How is Kazuya?”, asked Jin.
“He still locked himself inside his room. I was knocking the door over and over but he didn’t listen. Please go upstairs and talk to him. I guess he will listen to you. I’ll be here and wait for his father to arrived.”, said Kamenashi-san.
Jin nodded and he went to Kazuya’s room at the second floor. Jin stood in front of Kazuya’s room and tried to listen something but he couldn’t hear anything. Jin knocked the door.
“Kazu, it’s me.”, there’s no answer. “Kazu?”
Jin still didn’t hear anything.
Jin knocking the door harder and tried to opened the door, “Kazu! Opened up! Please talk to me!”
He got nothing. Jin now becoming worried, Maybe he was pass out again? Or maybe he was running away from his home? Or maybe he killed himself?!, think Jin.
“Kazu! Open up!”, yelled Jin while kept knocking the door panicky.
Still didn’t hear anything, “Ok, that’s it.”
Jin pushed and kicked the door hard several times, and then finally the door opened roughly. Jin rushed inside the room. Inside Kazuya’s room were dark and really mess. The curtain was close and the lamp was off. There were pieces of glass shattered on the floor, the bed sheet was torn apart and lot of other stuff on the floor that looked like after being thrown away. Jin heard sound of heavy breath at the corner of the room. Jin turned on the lamp and he saw Kazuya sat on the floor while hugging his leg and bury his face on his knees. After the lamp was on, Kazuya looked up and squint his eyes to look at Jin.
“Kazu?”, Jin approached Kazuya, “Are you ok?”
Kazuya just looked at Jin with silent.
“Kazu? Talk to me.”, said Jin while stroke Kazuya’s hair gently.
Kazuya could only see Jin’s lip moving without a sound. He took a deep breath and tried to say something.
“Jin… my ears… I couldn’t hear anything…”, said Kazuya with trembling voice, “I throw all the stuff at my room… hoping that I could hear all the broken stuff, but… I hear nothing…” said Kazuya weakly.
Jin looked at Kazuya with silent.
“Jin… why did God give me the ability to hear if He would take it again someday?”, said Kazuya tried to hold his tear.
Jin’s heart was really hurt seeing Kazuya like that, he really wanted to cry. But he tried to stay stronger.
“Jin…the doctor said that if I don’t take the operation, I still can see anything but I lost my hearing. At first, I don’t mind losing my hearing as long I still can see my family, my friends…and you. Because I can’t live if I couldn’t see everybody that I love…but now…”, Kazuya stopped for a while and took a breath.
“Now I’m scared Jin…I couldn’t hear anything…I couldn’t hear you…it’s so quiet, I’m scared”, Kazuya burst into tears.
Jin could feel pain inside his chest. He was so hurt seeing Kazuya like this. Then he hugged Kazuya and took him into his embrace. Jin kissed Kazuya’s top head and whispered something at Kazuya’s ear. Kazuya could feel that Jin was saying something but he couldn’t hear anything. He was frustrated at first but he felt so warm when Jin hugged him, then he cried on Jin’s embrace. After cried a while, finally he could sleep soundly for the first time in this few days.

Kazuya opened his eyes and saw his room’s ceiling. Kazuya rubbed his eyes and sat on the bed. He looked at the open window, let the afternoon sun come through his room.
Kazuya looked around his room, which already back to normal. Maybe his mom was cleaning it while he was sleeping, or maybe Jin. Jin? Where is he?
Then he saw a blue book on his bed near the pillow. There’s written KAME HE on the cover. Kazuya opened the book, and he saw messages that his friends wrote for him.
Ooi! The number 1 rapper from Chiba is in the house!! Hahaha…. Man I can’t believe I would say this but we miss you! Without you on the group, KATTUN would be ATTUN… TATUN… NATTU… UTTAN… no matter how you read it, it meaningless word! So KATTUN is nothing without “K” and that is you. So you better be back soon or I will ask Kimura Takuya-kun to replace you in the group hehe…(that’s so impossible isn’t it?) Get well soon! -JOKER-
Kame!! How are you feeling?! I really hope you get well soon… anyway I still feel guilty for leaving you behind at the haunted house, but I promise I will make it up to you by stay over at your house and give you lot of my new dajare so you won’t be lonely. I bet you really miss me right? Well I’m not surprise since I’m the most handsome in the group hehe…Iriguchi Deguchi Taguchi Desu!! (he end the message with smiley-anpanman picture)
Ah…I’m not in the mood to write something like this… but the others force me to write message for you so I just wanna say get well soon, bye…………………….. Hahahaha just kidding!!! When you will come back to work? It’s kinda weird when you’re not with us, because I don’t have someone to bully for (beside Taguchi) hehe… and also Jin acting kinda weird lately. He often spacing out and less eat. I guess he misses you. Since I don’t want to see BakaJin becoming SkinnyJin, you have to healthy soon and back to work ok! (he end the message with his signature)
Nakamaru desu!! Kame!! Be back soon!! KATTUN didn’t really have lot of jobs since you’re sick. That’s why if you’re not back to KATTUN, me and Koki will do the comeback as duo Tanaka to cover KATTUN’s income because of your absence. That’s why get well soon ok! And we will work hard as KATTUN again… ^^ Oh and don’t forget to pay me back when you borrow money for sushi that you bought last week…
Hey it’s Jin. I just found out that everybody was doing this message thing. Sometimes they have sweet side too beside stupid side isn’t it? That’s why I write this now while you’re sleeping. Since you were sick, work is so boring. I miss someone that make me so bless living this live everyday and I miss someone that can always make my mood back to normal after hearing Taguchi’s stupid joke. I really miss that special someone. Get well soon ok. Aishiteru yo. When you healthy, there will be a special song waiting for you. (end with smiley emoticon)
Kazuya smiled when he read the messages. He can imagined his friend’s faces while wrote the message. He put the book and closed his eyes. He tried to get used with the silent around him. Then after a while, he got up and walked out his room looking for his mom. He found his mom sat on the sofa with his father. When Kazuya walked near his parent looked at him and smile. He could see his mom saying “How are you feeling?” without a sound. Kazuya smiled and he sat on the sofa next to his mom.
“Otou-san, Okaa-san.”, said Kazuya.
His parent was looking at him seriously.
“I decided to take the operation.”, said Kazuya.
His parent silent at first, but then they smile and nodded.
