Minho wonders since when did he become Key’s shoulder to cry on? He remembered clearly that he never applied for the job, but as times passed by he then realized that the ‘comforting Key’ task is not so bad after all because Minho secretly likes to look at Key when he’s crying, he thinks that a crying Key is actually very cute and adorable. He found it easy for his arm to wrap around Key’s waist or to gently stroke Key’s back while the other shed his tears of happiness after their group reach their goals.
But then the comforting task becomes more demanding. In one of the music show where SHINee made the top of the chart, in the middle of Onew’s victory speech,
Minho felt that familiar pat on his shoulder, here we go again he thinks. “Minho yah” “Hmm..” Minho half glanced at Key. Out of nowhere Key suddenly mumbles “Give me a hug?” “W..What??” Minho gaped at Key’s sudden request. And he finally turn his head to look at Key only to find Key with slightly blushed cheeks and his watered eyes Minho find it hard to resist. “Now??” wait, what kind of question is that, of course he means now and I shouldn’t be asking that.. Minho tells himself. “Okay..” He sighed, what, now a hug? And then hesitantly extends his hands to lock around Key. With the audience squealed happily and Key buried his face on his neck, Minho smiled to himself and decides that he kinda likes it, well, I can definitely used to this.
