Graceful and terrifying - (but everyone is OK)

The day started off dreary, and rainy, but it quickly turned to snow and slush.  All I wanted to do was bundle up and start a fire, but unfortunately, I had to go food shopping.  I decided to make an outing of it and have lunch while we were there ( Read more... )

I wish I could remember if I properly thanked him. It was a small thing for him to do, but it meant the world to me, and I don't think that everyone would have thought of doing that.

I am happy to hear that you and the little one are okay. I had a similar incident during a snow storm years ago; I can't imagine how much scarier it would be if my child were in the car.

My hubby and I had an incident in upstate New York where the car we were in did a full 360 degree spin on the highway during a bad snowstorm. I thought that was terrifying, until yesterday. It amazing how one's priorities change once they have children. I am so blessed that nothing happened to either of us.
