Taverns and bars back home weren't anything like this. They're all lively and everyone gets along and everyone's welcome.

[Medic is on his way to the Tavern, seeing as it's a Friday, and he needs his beer. He notices her from a distance as he approaches, and his doctor's instincts tell him that any non-drone, looking this morose NEEDS a drink. He stops, his hands in his pockets, and glances over at her.]

Fraulein, vhy do you look so unhappy?

This tavern doesn't seem to enjoy having women in it. I was hoping to have a few drinks, but it's too...awkward.

I prefer zhe bar as vell, but you could alvays drink at 'ome, or somevhere else.
