I'm living with a cat for the first time. I'm still very much on the fence about whether or not this is a good thing. I've drawn up a table, it looks a bit like this:

You don't have a puke machine, so I'd call it a win. Dump it in the tub if it scratches your bed, or maybe just put a scratching post in there.

for added fun tie a string around it's waist juts tight enough that it knows it's there, that will be a barrel of laughs.

for something less fun for the cat, rub it's back against a window screen. I hear that might result in you needing a new window screen and/or a razor to rectify - but apparently amusing, I've never seen that.

I know from personal observation (my friend's brother flung their cat when we were little), that cats do not always land on their feet. (unless this particular cat had four tiny or invisible extra feet, on it's back).

That cat is quite possibly one of the cutest and most playful cats ever. It stalked me for like 10 straight minutes the other night.... even hiding and being smart enough not to take bait I was giving him.

I hate cats, generally, but love this one.
