I feel like the biggest bitch of life. (>.<) For approximately four months, I've been tutoring my cousin who came from Colombia. He doesn't speak English very well but he understands a lot and knows how to get by very well. He actually surprised me because he reads at the level of a sixth grader (one level bellow his) which is pretty friggin good

ah, Pipe. i'm just hoping that he learned something so that he doesn't have to repeat that scene all over again. and you're right, it wasn't necessary for his mom to react that way, she could've handled it just a bit better. just don't feel bad, cos it's not really your fault that he doesn't understand that he has to stay dedicated to his school work.

that kid reminds me of me in eight grade. All I did was go to school and blow it off, but when my ma asked how I was doing said it was great. Why? Because you always know what you're doing, and you always know how it's going to affect thepeople around you. That's why you do it, anyway, to get an affect from people. Maybe you want to tell them "Fuck off, leave me alone." Or maybe you want to look cool in front of your friends. But yeah, he knows he's messing up-whether or not he'll do something about it, I'm not sure, but you getting angry and all on top of him is going to do two things: it WILL help, psychologically or academically im not sure, but it will help, and it will make YOU the bad guy. Just suck it up soldier
