So originally I was going to do the whole 2008 recap thing and probably have some icons to dump too, but as usual I completely forgot. Therefore my New Year's resolution is to procrastinate less, which is something I will probably put off anyway.

Also, since when did Shin Megami Tensei have an MMORPG?

You know those shops they have that let you rent Chinese/Japanese manga volumes? Well this one just happened to sell them too~ So now I have Kuroshitsuji vol 1-3 in Chinese, and also two very old art compilations from Magic Magazine (a Chinese manga magazine, I guess?) This is based on a spinoff manga called Nightmare of Nunally - it's basically an AU where Nunally gets Geass (and an alter ego) instead of Lelouch, who disappears, and also involves "artificial" Geass users (and other things I don't know about because it isn't out in english yet)

...so my mother's first reaction to seeing that I have an ulcer is "You haven't been kissing anyone, have you?"

Guh, mothers.

Learned three things today:

1. I cannot under any circumstances at all stick to any sort of deadline whatsoever. I blame my inherent schizo-ness.
2. I reallly need to study because my exams start on Monday and the way I'm going it's like I-still-don't-know-what-to-write-for-this-essay-and-I-only-have-another-two-days-oh-my-god.

So, after spending the day walking around, getting sore feet, breaking the straps on my bag and spending all my money, I finally got some actual stuff :3

Considering NZ reeally lacks this kind of thing and decent cosplayers it's a good chance to spend my yearly budget of geekiness.
