(no subject)
So I did homework all day. As a reward, I treated myself to continuing my adventures in FFXIII-2 for an hour or so.
Serah and I are on better terms. I think it's mostly because I was comparing her to Lightning, Queen of Badasses, that I got a bit short with her yesterday. We're doing better.
Alyssa Hope-blocked me. Completely different from cock-blocking, but the same idea. I got ridiculous kinds of excited to go see Hope, because they kept talking about the Academy. So I'm all, "Oh, I know from my brief exposure to TVTropes that Hope leads the Academy or something! Maybe I'll see him and see how amazing he's gotten since-- Who the fuck are you?" While I found Alyssa's plights sympathetic, I felt like the whole "Maybe I'm really dead" thing was a bit over-the-top. But, you know, my opinion and I sure as hell haven't been in her position. Plus I was still a little sore over not getting to see Hope quite yet. Seems like a nice enough girl though.
Can I just say that I love the monster-catching aspect of it? Because I do. I wish I could name them other things though. I got a few things, but I'm mostly using Cait Sith and a Gremlin. Their names are Caligula and Curt. Woooo! I haven't scrolled through the other names, but if I see a Tsviet (or any familiar name, really), I will probably die.
I don't think I'll ever get over the Chocobos' re-design though. I don't hate it, I don't even dislike it. I think it's just completely ridiculous, which I LOVE, oh my GOD.
