#01 - Ring
The first time that Weiss had unabashedly broken the taboo and said, "Nero, I love you," the phrase rang through Nero's head for hours.
#02 - Hero
When Weiss destroyed the chains that pinned his brother to the pillar, the first thing Nero did was look at him and jokingly murmur, "My hero."
#03 - Memory
As Hojo runs rampant with his body, Weiss has to cool his anger with memories of Nero and the idea of Nero's face if Weiss slit his own wrists.
#04 - Box
Underneath Nero's bed, there is a box containing a picture of Weiss from when he was very young.
#05 - Run
When he realized that they weren't even going to try to save his mother from the darkness, Weiss just grabbed the little baby, swaddled in white cloth and dark energy, and ran.
#06 - Hurricane
They can still hear the storm winds in Deepground and they frighten Nero so much that he has to crawl into bed with Weiss, not that he minds.
#07 - Wings
The scientists had placed wings on Nero, wings that he couldn't even really fly with, and while he cried, calling himself a monster, Weiss had wrapped his arms around his little brother's frame and whispered consolation to him.
#08 - Cold
No matter just how cold Weiss was to the rest of Deepground, Nero knows that Weiss is, in fact, fiery and passionate about him.
#09 - Red
Nero will always be the one in the bath with Weiss, gently running the lather-laden sponge over Weiss' skin, changing the tones from dark red back to flesh.
#10 - Drink
To Nero's slight admonision of, "We really shouldn't be drinking, Weiss," he could only reply, "We really shouldn't be underground, Nero."
#11 - Midnight
Midnight was Nero's special time and, although it was hell for Weiss to wake up the next morning, he would never deprive Nero of feeling special.
#12 - Temptation
"You are aware," Nero purrs from the arm of the throne, "That it is very difficult to resist the temptation of jumping you when you yell at those cadets, right?"
#13 - View
"Excellent view," Weiss comments, walking into Nero's bath and watching the shorter man cover himself.
#14 - Music
The name "Weiss" is like music in Nero's ears and he would write symphonies about it, if only he could.
#15 - Silk
Contrary to opinion, Nero's hair is not as matted as it looks, but silky-soft and only Weiss would know it.
#16 - Cover
On their first mission, Weiss was forced to get into a difficult position and all he said to his yet unconfessed-to brother was (I love you, I need you, please don't ever forget me, ever), "Cover me."
#17 - Promise
Nero watched his brother go down, watched Vincent Valentine destroy him, and promised, there, that he would never leave Weiss' side in the Lifestream.
#18 - Dream
"I had a dream that I died," Weiss says one morning upon waking, and Nero just kisses him and whispers, "Then I'm lucky you're alive."
#19 - Candle
"Who would have thought that a candle would take out half of a Restrictor's room," Nero says, almost conversationally.
#20 - Talent
Weiss just looks at Nero, pulls him close and, as they watch the room burn, says, "You definitely have a knack for firesetting."
#21 - Silence
There is never any awkward or uncomfortable silence between them, but they love to be quiet and listen to the other one breathe anyway.
#22 - Journey
The journey onto the airship had been awkward and a bit clumsy but Nero would endure anything for Weiss.
#23 - Fire
Weiss was definitely the flame in their relationship, because he was passionate, needy, and lusty, so much more so than Nero.
#24 - Strength
People say that Nero only wants Weiss for his strength but Nero says that people talk too much and about topics they don't understand.
#25 - Mask
Nero's features under his mask are beautiful and defined and only Weiss knows what they look like.
#26 - Ice
Weiss' eyes are hard and cold as ice and Nero knows that this isn't the brother he was supposed to have awakened.
#27 - Fall
Weiss loves Nero's eyes, cat-like and a beautiful medley of the fall colors.
#28 - Forgotten
On the inside, Weiss screamed about Nero's body, still laying on the floor, forgotten as a broken doll.
#29 - Dance
Nero waltzes and Weiss likes to think it's funny, but he definitely enjoys it when they can just dance and forget.
#30 - Body
Nero loves Weiss' rock-hard body and, although it's far too skinny, covered in lines and a bit too pale, Weiss loves Nero's body as well.
#31 - Sacred
Weiss touches Nero like he's sacred, but Nero knows just how contaminated he is.
#32 - Farewells
Nero is happy that there were no farewells after Valentine defeated them because that meant that they definitely weren't leaving each other.
#33 - World
The outside world means nothing to Weiss which is why he's fine wreaking havoc as Omega.
#34 - Formal
Nero's behavior and speech is so formal sometimes that Weiss just wants to laugh, but it suits him, so he doesn't.
#35 - Fever
Once, and only once, Weiss caught a fever and Nero didn't leave his bedside for three days.
#36 - Laugh
When he was brought back, Nero was so happy to hear Weiss laughing that he almost started laughing himself.
#37 - Lies
They lie to everyone because no one can ever know the truth.
#38 - Forever
Nero meant what he had said to last forever when he said, "Let us come together so that no one may ever tear us apart."
#39 - Overwhelmed
Weiss was easily overwhelmed by his responsibilities and it's probably his saving grace that Nero knows when Weiss has had enough.
#40 - Whisper
After they did whatever they felt like doing that night, Weiss would hold Nero close and whisper to him softly (I love you so much, Nero, my Nero, I lo) until he fell asleep.
#41 - Wait
Weiss' confession took to long to get out, in Nero's opinion, and the first thing out of his mouth was, "Why did you wait so long?"
#42 - Talk
They don't really talk with their mouths when they're being loving towards each other, but they still communicate with them.
#43 - Search
During his search for the pure to bring Weiss back, Nero reminded himself that every life taken was for Weiss.
#44 - Hope
He had been told that there was no hope in Deepground, so Weiss wonders what he sees when he looks into Nero's eyes.
#45 - Eclipse
It's almost ironic, to Nero, that Weiss had eclipsed him, because he had always thought that eclipses dealt in darkness.
#46 - Gravity
In the darkness, there is no logic, no gravity, no sense, so Nero can say perfectly well that Weiss is his lover, not his brother, while they are there.
#47 - Highway
Weiss was so damn dominating, his "My way or the highway," additude carried everywhere except into bed.
#48 - Unknown
Nero was unknown, from his void to his face, and he was like that to everyone except the only one who could ever brave the unknown to see him.
#49 - Lock
"It's locked," Nero had weakly whispered as Weiss tugged at the chains separating them from an embrace.
#50 - Breathe
The sound that Nero loves the most is the sound Weiss breathing because its always happening.
