Junmyeon was on the first plane to South Korea and he clearly doesn’t give a dip shit about how his life is in danger and how his lover’s father in law wants to kill him. He doesn’t listen to Yunho nor Jaejong telling him not to be rash, he doesn’t listen to Moonbin’s Where are you going hyung? , he doesn’t listen to Jongin begging him not to do this and he doesn’t give a dipshit how Jongin told him he could knock him out within seconds. He does listen when Kyungsoo says to lay low.
Once in Seoul, Junmyeon goes to the hospital Yifan is admitted at and he sees Chanyeol and Tao wide eye at him. He pushes pass them and enter the room to where he sees Yifan speaking with Sehun and Luhan about his father. The duo’s serious face turns surprised and soon Yifan is present with a punch to his jaw.
“Don’t you scare me like that!”
“I thought I told you two to keep him away-“ Yifan snaps at the duo behind him but was rudely cut off when he sensed the glare from his tiny lover.
“I don’t care what you said to the two of them and I don’t give a shit if your father wants me dead but I care for the fact that if you have the nerve to call me and whisper I love you when you are shot, everyone else along the way will die.”
“Junmyeon you can’t even kill an ant much-“ Sehun begins but was cut off with the murderous aura emitted form the small figure.
“Say it again. I dare you to.”
Sehun was about to say something when Junmyeon turned and grabbed the knife from Jongin’s waist pocket; he turned twice before stabbing the intruder - whom entered through the opened window - straight to the heart. It all happened so fast that the rest of them didn’t even notice the intruder enter their room. Junmyeon looks up towards Sehun and walks away.
“What has Jaejong been teaching him?” Sehun breathes minutes later.
A week later, after Yifan was discharged, Yifan discovers that Junmyeon had went up to his father. He explodes at the rest of them, grabs his gun and walks into his father’s premises.
He shoots anyone in his way and when Yifan practically breaks the door to his father’s study, he was greeted with Junmyeon sitted opposite his father.
“How nice of you to join us, Yifan.”
“Fuck you old man. Give me back my wife.”
“I recalled him coming to me. And I must say that he is a true beauty. I wonder why I haven’t noticed this earlier.”
Yifan’s eyes narrow in disgust.
“You disgust me father.”
“And you disgust me, Yifan.”
“I’m talking about my wife.”
“And I’m talking about how you threated my place in the market!”
“You told me to prove myself and I did. But you backed out on your word cause you were afraid. Of what I didn’t know but now I do.”
“What the f-“
“You wanted me to be under you so that you could still control me. You wanted me to acknowledge you as your father cause your father didn’t do that to you. I originally wanted to keep you close and protect you, to keep you happy but seeing as you even have the nerve to fucking touch my wife, I think it’s time for you to be eliminated just like how you were supposed to be 3 years ago.”
“You-“
“Me. Yes, me! You think I don’t know what the fuck you’ve been doing? Well think again old man, cause I do know. I know everything inside and outside the market and how do you think I could know and predict what your next moves are? It’s over old man, give up and stop all your bullshit. The elder Wu glared at his son and stood up, they both glared at each other.

“To think we could had been a happy family even after I took over the business.”
The Wu leader stared down Yifan and vice versa.
“You will regret this.”
“I wouldn’t. It’s already clear that most of your customers have now all passed to my company and with all that you have recently been doing, it’s not a surprise that they would want you dead as well.”
“You and your petty-“
“Petty spies? May I remind you father, that these petty spies were the ones who brought you down to your downfall.”
“You-“
“How many fucking times do I have to say this, old man?”
Yifan pulls out his gun, releases the safety and points it to his father head.
“Stop playing a fool and hand over the business. No more games or I’ll end your life here. I’m sick of playing your game and I’m pretty sure Junmyeon here too is sick of playing your stupid game as well.”

Sure his mother had to be killed cause she wanted to kill my son but I hoped it had more good side to it for me, sadly, he gained more from it than I ever did and look at him now. My entire empire has been brought down even when I’ve taken everything away from him. It only proves that he will always be able to succeed and that he will continue doing what he must for the one he truly love. As much of a mafia leader I am, I can see that he loves you.”
“But why?”
“Junmyeon,” his strained voice now turned serious, ”When you’re in the black market, you life is always in danger. When you sleep, when you eat, when you walk and even when you breathe, every thing and everyone is a threat. Trust those you need to and only trust them, some things have to be done and even if you disagree, trust is something which can never and should never be put to the test. I want you to realize Junmyeon that marrying the next leader of the Scorpion clan will not only endanger your life, your friends, your family but even your future child. No matter how many bodyguards, how many countries you run, every moment of the day, someone is out there wanting to kill you.”
Junmyeon nods knowingly.
“Yifan has been through enough to know what a life and death situation must had felt. His own mother had a gun pointed to his head when he was barely a toddler. Of course at that time, she did it out of his safety but soon, when she realized that this was what her life is going to be, she wanted to end it and to end it once and for all. That’s when I shot her.”
Silence fell upon them, as both males were lost in their thoughts deeply.
“You did this, all of this for his own good.”
“Yes, and sadly so many people had to die just cause of it. I regret it a little for those deaths but to think it would only make the next leader stronger then I guess it’s all worth it.”
“You couldn’t tell me?”
“If I did, you would had never been strong enough to mercilessly kill others.”
“And you chose to rather kill all those people whom protected you?”
“If the leader is strong and the leader is fearless, many more loyal followers would come. Besides, all your people from your company are all not harmed are they.”
“Well you did punch-“
Junmyeon turns to him with a glare in his eyes. It was an adorable sight seeing as the pretty male pouted with so much intensity in his eyes but Yifan shrugged it off and kisses his naked shoulder as an apology.
“I guess it’s safe to say that our battle is finally over.”
“More like battle with father is finally over.”
Someone knocks the door and Yifan calls the person in.
“Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to Junmyeon, Happy birthday to you!”
Junmyeon turns to Yifan and looks back at the rest of the crew. He had tears in his eyes and he smiled when they placed the cake on the bedside table.
“Happy birthday hyung!” Jongin says.
They have fun and cheer, all happy that after 143 deaths, 1026 bullets and so many many restless and sleepless nights, they finally come to an end to one of their many missions.
“This calls for a celebratory song!” Luhan says.
Kyungsoo smiles at Baekhyun and they nod at each other.

There’s a knock on the door and Baekhyun pokes his head in, sufficiently cutting an upcoming argument.
“Hey cheesecake.”
“Hey baby.” Chanyeol says as he walks to his lover and kisses him.
“Hey, I’m just here to see if you guys are ready. Luhan hyung is practically bouncing up the walls in excitement.”
“We’ll be out in 10 minutes.”
“Okay.” The smaller male smiles towards his giant and kisses him before running off.

“Do you, Wu Yifan take Kim Junmyeon as your lawfully wedded wife? In sickness and in health, for poor and for riches, to promise to love him, to care and to attend to him when in need?”
“I do.”

Yifan glares at the priest while Junmyeon giggles at the interaction.

YIfan lifts up Junmyeon’s vile and he smiles seeing the blushing male. He pulls his chin towards his face and kisses those soft and beautiful lips. Junmyeon smiles into the kiss and they kiss earning whistles and cheers from all the attendees.

Kyungsoo sings the last verse of that oh so wonderful song, so wonderful memories flood into his mind as Sehun take Luhan into his arms and dance the waltz, Yixing and Jongdae following suit. Tao and Minseok come in not long after and Baekhyun and Chanyeol dance to the soft tempo. Jongin takes out his trumpet and comes onto the stage.
“We dedicate this song to our one and only boss, the one who has gone through thick and thin for his lover. For everything he has done for us even after so many years, for all the bullets and trips to the hospitals, for the trips to Lee Teuk hyung’s house and for the hospital appointments with Junmyeon hyung. We dedicate this song for all the happiness, the sadness, the memories, the pain, the anniversaries, the weddings, the kids and everything we all have done and especially to the baby that now baby Hunnie and Taotao has a sibling to.”
Yifan lifts his sons up and they cheer towards Kyungsoo. Junmyeon smiles knowingly at Kyungsoo and rests his head on his husband’s shoulder.
