Milk and cookies
Okay, maybe not so much cookies. But it fit. And whoa, I have lots to talk about. Milk (movie), Marie Digby (music), etc. :D
So so so today, I totally watched Milk. That movie. About Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be in office in California. I was like, hey, sounds interesting. And gay. So I should totally watch, right? And I did! Sean Penn, you play gay very well. Holy moly. I could've sworn he was gay. haha and oh oh oh James Franco, you make my heart go pitter patter (the guy who plays Harry Osborn in Spiderman). At first, the movie was slow, and I was kind of like, okay, this is a documentary sort of thing. They used real clips from the 70s and that gave the movie a cool effect. And then it just went all kinds of awesome, and now I'm happy but don't want to spoil it. Yet sad. But happy.
BUT I was like. Ah! San Francisco! Hey! I know those places! I have totally been there! Because yep, I live there. So it was fun to see all the places and just know where they were talking about. It was fun. Yay for my city. I feel lots of love right about now. haha
In other news, I have discovered Marie Digby! Well. I knew of her, but I didn't know she could speak Japanese, let alone release a Japanese album. It's very cute (and very much like YUI) for an album of covers. (to sarah, she covers one of AKFG's songs, and I love it) She's really adorable. Aaaaaaand I drew fanart/giftart! For jotsalot (a.k.a. Ladelle) and her awesomeness because she deserves it for working so hard all the time, writing and working and school..ing. :D That's on ygal, which I joined recently. Because Ivvymoon made me T__T haha but it's all good! Really. Um. I draw bad things for her DX oooops
UMMMM I HAVE BEEN ITCHING TO WRITE FIC. LIKE. TERRIBLY. It's all I think about in class. I mean, I have pages upon pages of ideas for fic [for many fandoms, of course], but I have no time to write them. BUT I WILL. I SWEAR. Holy geez, I will. *insert angry face here* rawr. I think I might. This weekend. OH OH OH but the SasuNaru exchange! I'm so excited for that. I got my assignment, and I'm excited. Yes. That plus in class, we're finally workshopping each other's stories. For real. The two we're critiquing on Tuesday...well, one of them was pure bull. I hated it. Horribly written. I mean. GAH. Grammatical errors, stupid plot, just. What. The other...was so good until the end. It was a let down. But it's sure to be interesting to talk about. I'm nervous. If I say bad things about theirs, will they say bad about me? D:
ANYWAY! I just played two vigorous hours of table tennis, and I am tired, not that I knew how to play at all. haha Gonna get some free worms and dirt tomorrow! Hopefully the rain lets up so that I can walk without dying. I have a cool umbrella though. Once it's open, you can see the awesome fake sky and clouds on the inside. Teehee. But yes. And maybe...fic? :O OH AND LOTS OF BL MOVIES. I've been watching more. Oooops. Hopefully in between movies, I can do homework. :D
