What I wrote for Yuletide
For all the years I've participated in Yuletide, and all the Early Edition stories I've written as treats and NYRs, this is the first time I've actually been assigned to write for EE. The recip asked for something with Gary, Miguel, and Cat, and I had a great time writing it despite the ups and downs life handed my in Nov/Dec.

Yuletide!
This Christmas is very, very weird.
I'm up and down emotionally and also have a head cold, and going to church last night put me in a horribly grumpy mood. This morning we had a May-worthy thunderstorm, complete with strobe lightning.
2016 gonna 2016.

As I mentioned in my last post, a friend of mine died Wednesday. We never met in person, but we've been on each other's friends lists on LJ, DW, and Tumblr for at least ten years. I went to Warren Buffet's Drive2Vote website to volunteer rides to the polls, because this election has me so stressed out I want to do something but I just cannot phonebank (which I did for Obama) or canvas.
