“Wakaremashita!” The two lean boys bowed their heads fully in front of an old man who looked to be nothing more than their grandfather.
It was a Sunday, the start of a new week and, though yet unknown to the two boys, the start of a love that could never be undone.
Kamenashi Kazuya and Akanishi Jin. Two boys who were not that much different from each other, considering their childhood and lifestyles. However, after auditioning into Johnny’s Jimusho, their lives would forever be intertwined. The man they heavily respected and bowed to was none other than Johnny himself. Johnny didn’t know what it was, but there was a connection between the two boys that sparked the room entirely, and, he could smell success (and money) in their very air, which was why he had talked to the two boys privately in his office.
“I want both of you to work together from now on. Wherever he goes you go, and wherever he goes you go. Of course, there’s still KAT-TUN, but I want you two to especially bond,” Johnny explained with ease and calmness.
The boys however were not surprised, confused, or depressed. It was not hard for them to comfortably and fully enjoy being in each other’s company. They didn’t know how or why, but their friendship was different from all the other friendships they had before they met each other.
With a grin, Akanishi replied, “We already are best friends, Johnny-san. You don’t have to worry about that.”
With a smile, Kamenashi chimed, “Yes, and don’t worry. I don’t think we’ll be ending this friendship in the near future!”
Slowly, Jin and Kazuya turned to each other and smiled happily, with Johnny yet again experiencing that “spark” in the room.
“Well, you won’t understand what I mean for now, I guess,” he said with a sigh, “but that’s good to know Akanishi-kun, Kamenashi-kun.”
And yet, with another grin plastered on their faces, Jin and Kazuya bowed their heads and replied, “Wakaremashita!”
Akanishi and Kamenashi were dismissed for the day, and for what seemed like forever, had their first official day off that day and the next. They headed to KAT-TUN’s dressing room where they met their four other band members and close friends.
“Yo!” Tanaka Koki greeted them with a smile that stretched from ear to ear.
Everyone else looked up and saw Akanishi and Kame at the doorway. They were together…..yet again. All greeted the pair while packing their things. Ueda Tatsuya walked towards the door first, a tired look dragging on his face.
“I’ll be going first. I feel like crap. Peace!” With a tired grin to the pair, Ueda exited the building dragging his feet along with him
“Me next! I’ve got to finish that level I’ve been having a hard time on in Final Fantasy. Ja ne!” Taguchi Junnosuke bouncily waved goodbye to everyone, leaving the room with a pat on the back for both Jin and Kazuya. No one understood just how that boy worked. After such a busy day of rehearsals, he still had energy left to be happy and bounce off all walls of the room.
“You ready Koki?” Nakamaru Yuichi asked as he slung his backpack on his back.
“Ah, hai! Let’s go!” Koki laughed back at Nakamaru. “We’re gonna go hang out at a nearby café. After this crazy week, I’m glad Johnny=san gave us a day off. Bye-bye!”
“Bye-bye Jin, Kazuya!” Nakamaru and Koki waved at the pair with strange grins and mischievous eyes.
“What was that about?” Kazuya queried as he noticed his friends’ strange behaviors in the dressing room.
“I don’t know. But don’t mind them. Let’s go!” Akanishi widely grinned at the now worried Kame.
“Wait, where are we going?” Kame didn’t know Jin had plans with him that day. Did he miss a memo?
“Ah! Gome- I guess I’m must used to…..um….” Jin didn’t exactly know why he said what he said. Realizing this, a blush crept up to his cheeks as he darted his eyes to the floor.
Kame grinned at this and hit Akanishi on the back of his head. “Bakanishi!” Kame headed out of the building, while Jin stood there, speechless and embarrassed. He noticed Kazuya wasn’t in the room any longer and quickly rushed out.
“Oi! Matte!” He called back to Kazuya, who turned around in the most feminine way possible, hair swishing back along with his head. “Eh?” he tilted his head to the side in confusion. Really? Was this boy trying to give Jin a heart attack?
“Ano…actually, I was thinking maybe we could hang out, unless of course you want to rest alone for the day…” Jin trailed off. Why did he suddenly feel so shy around Kame?
Kame gave his friend a smile and nodded. “Yosh! ‘Wherever he goes you go!’” he mimicked Johnny-san, stance, voice, and all, his hands on his hips.
Akanishi laughed at this mock, and having seen his friend’s smile, began to feel a little bit more comfortable again.
After much debate, the two headed back to Akanishi’s house. Since this day and the net were the only times they would be able to have proper days off, they decided to chill at each other’s house.
“Tadaima!” Jin yelled to an empty hosue as Kame and him replaced their shoes with the house slippers. “Make yourself at home,” Jin declared to Kame.
“Don’t I always?” Kame mouthed back as he flopped himself down onto Jin’s bed.
Akanishi took his jacket off, wearing only his hsorts and a grey tank top that fit perfectly onto his slender body. He placed a piece of paper on top of his desk and placed himself net to Kame. “My parents aren’t home yet. They decided to have a night out. AH!” Jin remembered something and quickly ran to the kitchen. Kame began to worry and ran after Jin.
“Jin, what is it?” Kazuya asked.
On the kitchen table was a big parfait bowl filled with delicious looking flavors. Jin turned around with two spoons in his hands and a smile that made his eyes disappear on his face. At this, Kazuya began to blush, seeing a slim boy in front of him with loveable eyes.
