I seem to be seeing this phrase a lot on LJ recently, I assume it must be from something? I dunno. I'd friend you, but there's not enough here to tell if I'd like you (similiar interests mean little from a broad view), so I must go with my default setting for strange humans. Eh bien.

It's from a Midsummer Night's Dream. I'm not a Shakespeare nut, I just really like the play and the quote. I suppose I'm unoriginal...how sad. I don't think I've changed it in a year or two...
I'm kind of on the stance that my journal would probably only interest people who actually know me. I'm I that obviously strange or do you just call people strange who have their journals as friends only?

Ah, that makes sense. I mostly forget about that play. You are a stranger, which means you are strange to me. Much like responsible parents admonish their children not to approach strange animals. Though humans are at least an order of magnitude more dangerous than any other animal I know of ^^ It is no disrespect, I just tend to turn my phrases oddly.
