Is it pathetic that I find the judges' nonsense more interesting than the girls' performances?

( And what's with the high-waisted pants??? )

Her performance wasn't bad, but it wasn't outstanding. That's the problem with many of the performances tonight.

That's what I think it is. I'm like "Okay, you're good, but I just don't CARE that you're good."

we went out last night and i promised my daughter i wouldn't watch the tivo without her, so i have not seen it. however, remember, high-waisted pants= totally 80s!

I agree with you on almost everything but Syesha (I didn't like) and Carly (I loved). :)

And yes, one big problem this year is that we have very talented people (all of them can really sing), but they don't produce memorable performances, aside from some obvious exceptions.

Yep, I am really impressed with the vocals this year, but people need to show personality! And choose better songs! Top 12 is gonna be so interesting.
