Today, I babble again!

Apparently, I'm in the mood. Besides, more writing can't really hurt me unless I say really dumb things, I guess :P .

First, let's talk about work. Yesterday was awesome and not awesome in a way. I'm apparently "too awesome for my own good" .

Read that as : don't screw up on the script, pretty please. Everything else is good, you sound awesome, but PLEASE, the SCRIPT ?

I'll freely admit it. I do realize I messed up. But let's be honest here : the script seems, sometimes, repetitive, and long-winded. Thankfully my voice is "nice" enough that people don't get bored to death when I ask my questions (the sup listened to me once, then another listened, and I finally got it right the third time) .

But still. There is one question with a few words attached that seem logical, they explain the words in the question. But why use such a "complicated" survey when you know pretty darn well many people might not understand ? I understand the questions just fine myself. But I do know that many people don't get it at first, and it's annoying.

This, and the order of the words in some questions seems awkward. And totally not fluid at times.

So basically, given what the second sup told me, if you read "between the lines" : thank deity I have a super awesome voice, otherwise, I'd be screwed royally. They were actually extra nice to me with this one: the "nice" sups listened to me before I had the chance of getting handed over to the "stricter" sups.

Tonight I guess I can handle trying to sound fake and long winded a few more hours... my "new" way to cope is to adapt my voice depending on the caller. If a male answers and "seems" single, I have a "deep" (not sexy, just deep and serious) voice. If I get an older person, I use a sweet and nice voice. With a nice person, more chipper. With a bitter person, slightly stricter. Seems to do the trick for now!

So yay me!
