"Come over," Yodogawa says cryptically. "There's someone I want you to meet."
"Wh--" Yonemura starts. He's left staring at his phone though, as Yodogawa hangs up without listening. Sometimes there's no helping their leader.
His phone rings again later, seconds after he's rung the doorbell.
"Hey," Yodogawa says. "It's open. Come down to the garage."
"I don't believe you," Yonemura says in person, after a minute. Yodogawa's old man nature has always been legendary. "You heard the door with your own ears and still called?"
"Sorry, Yonemuu," Yodogawa says, not the least bit repentant. "I had other guests here first." He tips his head back, and Yonemura blinks at a giant of a foreigner standing demurely in one corner. "A friend of some of my kouhai; he's interested in joining our band. Akun, this is Yonemura. He sings and stuff."
"Hi," the giant says, bowing a little, randomly happy. He seems younger than he looks.
"A-kun?" Yonemura asks.
"Yup~"
Yodogawa smirks. "Nope, try again."
Yonemura furrows his brow. "Akun-kunThe foreigner

YAY, I'M GLAD YOU LIKED IT. \:DD/ SO HAVE A KIND-OF SEQUEL-! ;;
"You're kidding right?" Akun says later that week, when they finally explain what he's not, yet, but what they sort of kind of maybe will need him to become. "A Johnny?"
The idea's a bit ridiculous. He's not really JE's typical fare. At all.
"It's a fortnightly slot on TV," Yodogawa says clinically, "where's the joke?"
"Uh," Akun says, rubbing the back of his neck. "No offense guys, but some of my friends watch that show like it's church and I've never seen you in my life."
"He has a point," Yonemura shrugs, cordial. "If he joins us, it won't be for the screen time." Shounen Club isn't quite synonymous with that for them

ANYTHING INVOLVING ANY MEMBER OF QUESTION?
With anyone.
But most of all I'd love me some Yone/Akun.
OR YONE/RYO. They secretly hate each other. Come on, write it, write it.
