It looks as though I was successful in only 5 out of the 13 categories that I made predictions. Mariah still had a good night with 3 wins out of 8. Also, she nailed her performance of Fly Like A Bird with a short We Belong Together intro. Even back when I cared more about contemporary pop/rock/R&B, the Grammys were always my least favorite of the Oscar/Emmy/Grammy trifecta, but I'll comment on a few things.

U2's album was widely considered just middling, both by critics and fans -- not a dud like "Pop," but certainly no classic like "Achtung Baby" or "All That You Can't Leave Behind."
