opening night eve jitters

i got home from work about a half an hour ago. before that i had to go to rehearsal. it went ok. i'm nervous, and not because i have to perform in front of people. i got over my stage fright senior year. i'm just nervous that no one is going to show up for the play considering the only advertisement around campus has been the school newspaper. we' ( Read more... )

Don't fret about your acting ability, I think you're doing superbly better then most others. I mean you've got emotion in your voice, and you change tone and pitch. I like it.

As for the possible lack of an audience, don't worry about it, I bet we'll have mor epeopel then this one show I was a part of where we only had 4 people in the audience. Talk about a let down. But afterwards, all four wanted to tell us how much they had enjoyed watching our performance. Whether there is one person or 500, we still have to give them our best.

As I have decided to view theatre, Acting is done for the actor's sake, the show is put on for the audience. Basically, kick back and have a blast.
