YouTube video of skit, thanks to lakupo for finding it. I do recommend the other video for now, though, since this was shot from some ways back in the audience. (But it has the interesting factor of sometimes showing what was onstage and sometimes showing what was on the in-house video screens.)

Yep, that's me! I've been reading ever since it was a Mariners blog, since I got into baseball by watching the 2001 Mariners. I don't read everything quite as closely as I used to these days but it's neat to hear about Japanese baseball, especially from someone whose writing I'm already familiar with. (I actually have a fantasy team called the Chunichi Dragonflies, for reasons which are probably obvious.)

Sweet! I started reading Marinerds in 2006, after starting to get into NPB and reading other English NPB sites. (I lived in Japan at the time, so I just latched onto the nearest team.)

I met dr4b in person too! We went to a Yokohama game last year, since she just arrived in Japan and I was on my way home.

Also, awesome fantasy team name. XD And I also added you to my friends list, if you don't mind.

Heh. See, I had a hunch -- two LJ friends both mention ACen, and one mentions that he saw a kickass FF group and ran into a girl who read my blog, and the other mentions being in a kickass FF group... it had to be the same people!

I actually didn't know about the Dragonflies team though, heh. Or maybe I did and I forgot.
