I hear if you are more than half way out, you have the right of way. Usually, if it's them hitting you, ie, your side, it's their fault. -so here's rooting for ya.

I was right. If you're backing out, you have the greater responsibility. And just as I suspected, my insurance company intends to pay for the damages.
