I've been suffering from what appears to be allergies and a possible cold w/ sore throat for about.....oh.....a week. Symptoms include extreme nasal congestion, sinus pressure, sneezing my head off, watering and irritated eyes and now a sore throat. I haven't been getting sleep 'cause I can't breathe at night. So I've decided to be more aware of the stress I put myself through especially around the time I have tests. Finals are happening and I've made sure to give myself more time to study things and take Chinese herbs to help with memorization and stress/anxiety and I'm trying to change my mental view of things. The weekend went well.
Saturday was a li'l dinner get-together with friends that was fun. Afterwards, there was ice cream cake at our place.
Sunday was the actual day of my birthday. That was reserved for just me and Tyler. We had a picnic out at Mayfield park and then we had dinner at Musashino. It was very nice.

First round of tests are knocked out. I feel pretty confident about things. Yay!

So, I was wrong.

The infection in my throat turns out to be viral, not bacterial. That means I get to suffer. No antibiotics for me. No easy way out.

At least the amount of green that's coming up is less. Still quite a lovely shade of putrescent yellow.
