I got the usual e-mail from Match.com this morning, containing a couple dozen links to profiles of women much taller than me, much younger than me, and/or who live in Outer Mongolia. One, though, I read carefully; although she is looking for someone taller than I am1, I was impressed by her knowing what a French curve is2.

I don't know. One of the things that I like about Match is that one can state with no ambiguity the type of partner one is looking for. Whilst I'm willing to push the envelope a little when I find a woman particularly attractive, that she's looking for a man with a minimum height of 5'8" (I'm 5'6") is pretty much a deal-breaker to my mind.
