Yeah, okay so I wrote this a while ago and just never posted it here. It is by far the shortest thing I've ever written.

Summary: Tobi has his odd quirks, that much is certain, but even he doesn't why Deidara-senpai's blond hair and blue eyes make Tobi want to call him "sensei."
There are times when Tobi can’t look at Deidara.
“Tobi, what are you doing, un?”
“N-nothing Deidara-sens…senpai.”
It is not that he is embarrassed.
“Tobi. Look at me, un.”
It is not that he is scared.
“N…no.”
It is that he is confused.
“Damnit, Tobi…”
There are times, when his memory flashes, when he looks straight into Deidara’s human eye and the light catches on his bright blond hair. Images similar to the one he is seeing but not the same fill his mind, and he finds himself with the inexplicably urge to call Deidara not senpai, but…
“…Sensei.”
“What was that?”
“Hm? Oh, nothing, Deidara-senpai! You can trust me! Tobi’s a good boy!”
“…Un. Right. Whatever.”
If he recognizes these memories are those of a life now passed, he makes no sign of it. He instead pushes them to the side.
He has all the blond hair and blue eyes he needs in his senpai, now.
