I really like the idea one commenter in yuki-onna's post had, about a nationwide strike--but I know it wouldn't work, because too many women--crazy as the thought apparently is!--are too conscientious and responsible to abandon their jobs and risk losing the ability to care for their families/S.O.s/themselves. Dammit.
