Don't you remember the pro-life asshole crowing that the so-called partial-birth abortion ban increased the risk of perforation of the uterus? The idea that the children are largely tools with which to punish the mother (never the father, curiously) is an old one.

The fact of the matter is that there is a very large part of the anti-abortion movement that is far more concerned with punishing women for daring to be sexual than with any sort of sanctity of life.

It just amazes me that there isn't more of a reaction to it. And that they have any kind of following.

Then again, these are probably the same people that cheered when John Bolton mentioned nuking Chicago. I'm not sure which one bothers me more, honestly.
