Using seperate lines for all, can you connect each letter to each number without crossing a single line? (Connect A to 1, 2, 3; B to 1, 2, 3; C to 1, 2, 3).

I had a kid ask me this question earlier, his response is illustrated in this picture. Since the one we phrased said that none of the lines could cross these lines do not cross, but become so close as to appear as being one.... Worth a shot..

Nice try, but I don't think you can make a hub either... C'mon guys! This isn't some Mensa exercise that can be tucked away under the bed to gather motes...This is Eddie's homework!

is impossible one of the possible choices?? i tried and it looked like a mess...but i couldn't get the last one without crossing...mebbe i should employ the help of one these engineers running around hereabouts!

...just had a brainstorm...what about crossing 2 lines every time you have to cross??? :p

the hub is the only possible answer, there is no other way to do it.

Found hereQuestion: there are two horizontal lines with three dots in them each. You must connect each top dot with all three bottom dots without overlapping or intersecting lines. HELP ( ... )

It took me awhile to figure out... but it's really quite simple when you break it down to the 8-bit world. Use the methods of the wise Mario... WARP PIPES!!!

Beautiful Chris. Fucking brilliant.

Anna, I'm leaning towards the "there's no answer" camp on this. Believe me, I've spent more time on this than what is clinically recommended, and have not come up with anything. Half of the people I work with have tried it, and they haven't come up with an answer. One girl says she did, but she is a dirty liar and she just said that to tease, so that doesn't count. I'm going to keep working on it, until I gain my sanity back.

I think I have it... the instructions say nothing about going thru the boxes... it just says use separate lines... so since these are usually think outside the box type things... I came up with this...

I count that as being connected serially...nice try =\ Funny thing is, Tita Mary Ann called me maybe 15 minutes before you posted telling me she and Allison stayed up and "figured" it out; I will post her results. KEEP TRYING!

Ok... so "serial" technicalities out... how about not drawing lines at all? what if each were moved to a 3d plane instead of a 2d plane. Turn each into a cube, and arrange it as follows... (no 3d Studio Max, so bear with my MS Paint skills)

I just realized that there are half a dozen pictures for a Yes or No question.

"Using seperate lines for all, can you connect each letter to each number without crossing a single line?"

It doesn't say do it, it just wants to know if it can
