Corvette huh? What brought this about? Is this something that is for certain? Or is it simply something that you plan on doing once everything regarding your schooling and what not gets underway?
Nah... It's actually stemming from seeing that red corvette parked in front of the casino. After I commented (obviously it was an expression of ehh...awwwwe, if you will), Papa naturally began informing me about that car. It was from this that I learned, to my slight surprise actually, that he wants to own one himself. I never took him for a 'Vette type-of-guy, but what did I know really. He'd tell me from our various conversations that if you can afford it, then go for your dream since life is indeed short. I already know that I'm not into anything super-fancy anyway, and I'm talking about Aston Martins, Porsches, etc. A BMW is really nice, but I don't think it fits my personality, which is the same thing I can say about a Mercedes. Throw Lexus out of the window (although Papa does say that some of they are really nice cars) because it's too 'blah'. If I go the practical route, I think I'll get an Accord or maybe really look into this funny car that Papa showed me last night called the Hopper MINI (made by BMW). However, I

Regarding 'what brought this about,' I posted my response to this en lieu of what Seester posted. I don't know if this is for certain, and NATURALLY this will have to wait after I finish school. Seriously, how else am I suppose to afford this or any car for that matter? All I know is between my educational background and the prospects of decent-paying jobs + not having to worry about buying a car -or maybe even a house- for a while after I graduate, I think this is defintely a plausible investment and venture.
BTW, I'm not getting a manual because it's going to be an automatic ;) ::waits for flame posts::
