EDIT: This is inaccurate information. Mistake! Palin attempted to ban some books, but this is I believe a list of the most commonly banned books in America. So, disturbing that these are commonly banned books. But not so disturbing for her, since she just didn't get around to banning them herself...

wtf....and books like "Brave New World" or "Little Red Riding Hood"...why would you want to bann books like that.

Revision: it was a mistake. Palin looked into banning some books apparently, but this list ends up being just a list of the most often banned books in America.

Which is still disturbing. Why on earth would you ban fairy tales? Yes, they are all very dark and gruesome, but I think Hans Christian Anderson has more of a corner on the morbid market than the Grimm brothers. And there are plenty other stories more morbid than that.
