I came across the movie "Adventures Of Buckaroo Banzai  Across The 8th Dimension" on TV a few minutes ago just in time to see a great scene in which a Nuclear War-pondering President of the United States is handed a paperwork form labeled "Declaration Of War: The Short Form."

i wouldn't include pwned and teh in the dumbing down of america. thats just aspects of a new language that's been created since the common use of the internet.

no if you want to attack the dumbing down of america, you need to go after reality tv, and most of what passed for comedies these days.

He's starring in a completely unnecessary remake of "The Day The Earth Stood Still." Then again, playing an alien with no understanding of human culture doesn't seem like it would be much of a stretch for him...
