Earlier this morning my Dad called me to tell me that my Grandmother was in the hospital. For an 86-year old woman in the middle stages of Alzheimers, this didn't terribly surprise me. What did upset me was HOW she ended up in the hospital. She apparently had TWO strokes AND a heart attack, then fell and hit her head, which resulted in a concussion ( Read more... )

Thanks, Tricia, I appreciate the offer. From what I've been told, she's actually recovering okay. The strokes and heart attack were about as minor as those things can get, apparently.

And same offer applies to you as well. I hope your Mom is doing okay and if there's anything I can do, please don't hesitate to call. :)
