Keisuke Summary Part 1

Sep 24, 2010 01:54

Original summary by MayAlex here. Part two is here in my journal.

Once again I lay no claim to these words and all of the parts essential to Keisuke's characterization in DV are bolded.

Be warned there are pictures under this cut and some of them are of the explicit variety so proceed at your own discretion.

Well, it all starts as you know from the mangas and what Dagger said, when Akira is in CFC competing in Bl@ster. If you want to know what happens in the prologue of the story, go here

.
There you’ll find the translation to the script of the first four scenes...

Well, after that Akira goes to Toshima. When he arrives he finds this small abandoned coffee shop and he goes inside. This is the image

After that he hears some noises and grabs his knife. So here is when Keisuke comes in and tells Akira he has followed him because Akira had told him he was going to leave the night before (which he does after being released from jail and returning to his appartment). Then the scene goes pretty much like in the manga (when Keisuke tells Akira that he doesn’t know the way back, and Akira gives Keisuke his knife for protection).

While they are walking on the streets of Toshima they first encounter Rin. At first sight Keisuke thinks Rin is a girl but they both soon learn he’s a boy.

This scene is exactly like the one on the manga, Rin fools them telling them they have to pay a fee, Akira asks Rin for a place where to buy weapons and Rin gives Keisuke a knife. After that Rin offers to lead them to the Castle, where they are going to learn the rules of the Igura tournament. They hesitate at first, but they follow Rin.

When they arrive at the castle, Rin tells them about Arbitro’s hobby (you know, the cutting boys up, taking out their eyes and vochal chords and experimenting on them thingy) and Keisuke pretends he is going to enter Igura so he can participate in a reunion, learn the torunament’s rules and sare the information with Akira. Since Akira is already participating he is supposed to the rules, but he has not entered the tournament legally, and that’s why he can’t join the reunion.

When Keisuke is at the reunion, Akira meets Arbitro for the first time.

After that, the three of them get out of the castle and Rin tells them there’s someone he wants to introduce them to. Of course, Akira and Keisuke hesitate but Rin doesn’t listen and leads them to another part of the city.
Rin then complains about this person’s lack of punctuality and tells Akira and Keisuke to wait for him while he goes to find the man.

At this time, Akira asks Keisuke about the rules of Igura which he explains (you all know most of the rules but here are two that were new to me when I learned them in the game: it is considered victory when the other’s back is touching the ground and, of course, fire arms are not allowed in Igura).

After a long conversation, he tells Akira he wants to enter Igura. Akira asks if he is sure about what he is doing. Keisuke (after some very long talk) finally tells Akira his true motive for wanting to enter Igura. He says he wants to help Akira gather tags and to try to protect him. Akira says it’s stupid, and asks him if he knows what it’s about. To kill or to be killed. Akira asks Keisuke if he is ready for that. Keisuke answers he just wants to be useful to Akira, at least once. And he says he is prepared.

After that Rin returns and leads them to the club. In their way there they have their first encounter with the Punsihers and Inu. Kiriwar and Gunzi (Rin tells them their names and also who and what Inu is) are killing a man who is desperately asking for help. This scene is pretty horrible, it kinda made me go . Keisuke is pale and mutters ‘it’s awful’ then turns the other way. When they are finished with the man, Kiriwar and Gunzi call Inu and start their arguement about whether Inu is a dog or a cat... (Gunzi calls him Pochi, and says he’s a dog, while Kiriwar calls him Tama and says he’s a cat..LMAO). At some point they notice Akira and they make Inu smell his tag (Akira of course is terrified because he doesn’t know whether the tag is genuine or not, Emma didn’t tell him anything). Gladly they seem to conclude the tag is real and they leave.

After that Akira, Keisuke and Rin enter the club, where they meet Motomi. Rin introduces them and they starts talking about Igura, the state of the country, and how a civil war is bound to start at any moment between CFC and Nikkouren. After that, they notice a Line user. That’s when Motomi tells them about Line, exactly as it happens in the manga, with Keisuke asking about Line and Motomi asking him if he’s that desperate for power. As you know, Keisuke says he’s got ‘something’ he wants to protect (gee, I wonder what that is). At some point Rin takes a picture of the whole group, as it happens in the manga.

After that, they leave the club and Akira and Keisuke return to the coffee shop.

The next morning, they eat some solid

and they go to the Castle again so that Keisuke joins Igura. When they are in front of the Castle, they encounter Motomi and they go inside together. While Akira and Motomi wait for Keisuke, they start a conversation. At some point Arbitro shows up and talks with Motomi. You learn there that there’s a grudge between them, because of the things they say, but when Akira asks Motomi if he knows Arbitro, he avoids the question.

When Keisuke comes out they go out of the Castle and say goodbye to Motomi who has to go get more tabacco. (That was like...LOL)

Then Akira asks Keisuke to show him the tags and checks if they are useful for him (as you probably already know, Igura uses a form of poker and the tags have poker cards on them, so one has to get a royal flush of tags, so some of the tags are not useful (the ones called pig tags). I don’t really remember how many of them were useful to Akira. So Keisuke gives Akira his tags (When you enter Igura you are given 5 tags, but of course Keisuke can’t give Akira the one he is wearing on his neck because he would be considered a loser and handled to the Punishers).

Then, when they are returning they encounter Takeru, who grabs Keisuke form behind and takes his tag. After a fight and a struggle Akira cuts Takeru’s tag and the rosary (well it’s not actually a rosary, just a necklace with a cross) he wears on his neck. For what I seemed to understand, Takeru grabs the rosary and runs without taking the tag.

In between you are taken to Arbitro’s Castle where you can see Arbitro with Inu. In this scene you learn how Arbitro met Inu and this is when he says that Inu is ‘his finest masterpiece’.

After that, Akira and Keisuke return to the coffee shop, and they notice there’s someone inside. They hear a strange sound and see a camera’s flash. Akira grabs his knife but soon they realize it’s just Rin.

At some point in the conversation between them, Rin drops his pictures. Akira and Keisuke pick the pictures up for him and Akira grabs the picture of Shiki that Rin owns. Rin takes the picture from Akira’s hands very quickly and Akira is surprised at both Rin’s reaction and expression.

But Rin quicly goes back to his ever cheerful self, which makes Akira even more shocked and curious. He is about to ask Rin something but when Rin asks him what is it, he says ‘no, it’s nothing’.

Then they go outside and they encounter a crowd where the Punishers are trying to kill someone. They quicly lear that someone is Takeru, who runs away from the Punishers taking Akira with him (I don’t know why he does that, it is either unexplained or I missed it).

There are many choices to make before that I don’t remember, but at this point I remember the choice you are given: you can either struggle and release your hand from Takeru’s grip or not do it and run along with him. If you don’t, then Keisuke’s route continues, if you do you go to Gunzi’s or Kiriwar’s bad endings. I’ll explain Kiriwar’s if you want me too, I don’t know about Gunzi cause I haven’t played it (but I will sometime in the near future).

Well, assuming you don’t struggle to release yourself (I mean assuming Akira doesn’t), Akira and Takeru hide inside a dark place (EDIT: now I know it was a garbage can). The Punishers pass by and they don’t notice them. When they go out Akira and Takeru have a small talk. Akira learns Takeru’s name and he tells Akira he was in Bl@ster too. He says he knows Akira’s name and that he is the champion of Bl@ster. He also asks Akira to give him back his tag, which he does (I dont know why, but maybe Akira is just a nice person ^_^). At some point Akira asks why Takeru took the cross and not the tag, when the tag is the most important thing (after all that must have been what brought the Punishers on him). Takeru answers it was his younger sister’s. Then he parts and Akira is left behind, where Rin and Keisuke find him a bit later.

Well, after that Rin suggests that they go to the Hotel (joint with the club and another place that I don’t remember, the Hotel is one of Igura’s neutral zones). So they follow Rin and enter the Hotel. That’s when you learn you can use pig tags to ‘buy’ water, first aids kits or solid. Rin gets them food and water and after having eaten, Akira says he’s going out to get some fresh air. Keisuke’s fall asleep by this moment, so he doesn’t notice Akira leaving.

Note: I know from Keisuke’s drama CD, what happens while Akira is outside, (of course it’s in japanese and I didn’t get everything that happened ) Keisuke is having a nightmare involving the Punsihers killing someone. Then he suddenly wakes up and Rin asks what’s wrong. Keisuke is confused and asks Rin ‘where am I?’ and Rin answers ‘in the Hotel, don’t worry, you were just having a dream.’ He answers ‘so it was just a dream...’ but he thinks it wasn’t because it is the reality of Toshima. Rin is worried and asks Keisuke if he is okay. He says it’s nothing and asks about Akira. Rin tells him Akira has gone out to get some fresh air and gives him a glass of water. Then he thinks something about Akira (sorry, didn’t get it) but Rin interrupts him asking ‘So, Keisuke, do you...like Akira?’ (double LOL). Of course Keisuke almost chokes at the question which confirms it to Rin, who tells him not to worry, that he understands. Then Keisuke starts explaining very quickly that Akira and him are childhood friends, and that Akira is just a friend to him (yeah, right). But Rin doesn’t care and he keeps pushing the subject to what Keisuke explains his relationship to Akira, how they grew up together and everything. They keep talking about it and at some point Rin says ‘But, Akira doesn’t like Keisuke then.. It’s a strange thing’. They are still discussing it, when Akira comes back...

So, let’s go back to our dear Aki-chan... As soon as Akira leaves the Hotel, he starts wandering in the streets. At some point he runs into a lot of people who are running away from something, and he listens to one of them yelling “It’s Shiki!!!”. Akira wonders who or what Shiki is and runs in the opposite direction to the man who yelled. At this point Akira first encounters Shiki, just as it appears on the manga and as Dagger described it.

When Shiki is gone Akira is quite disturbed and he doesn’t notice it when a bunch of guys surround him and attack him. The scene is exactly the same as in the manga from ZERO magazine, he is attacked with a stun gun, thrown to the floor by a silver haired man and futily struggles.

Akira notices this man is on Line. At some point the man cuts Akira’s shoulder and licks Akira’s blood off his knife. Now, that was a bad thing to do, but of course our lil silver-haired stranger doesn’t know it. Immediately after that, the man goes into convulsions to Akira’s shock. Akira takes the oportunity to take the man’s tags as soon as his back is on the ground and runs away with the man’s friends yelling at him and insulting him.

After that Akira leans in a wall, considering everything that happened, seizing the fact that he has defeated a man and that the man is probably dead by now. He assumes the convulsions were due to a Line overdose, but still he is quite upset.

He then makes his way back to the hotel, but as misfortune chases after Akira, he runs into the Punishers instead. Kiriwar and Gunzi are carrying the dead/agonizing body of the man that attacked Akira a lil while ago. I don’t remember exactly what happened here but at some point (why do i keep saying ‘at some point’? LOL) Motomi shows up and takes Akira out of there. He tells Akira off for not having run away as soon as he saw the Punishers. They have a small chat (don’t remember all the details), Motomi asks Akira what was he doing outside and how come Keisuke is not with him. Akira just says he was out for some fresh air and that Keisuke is with Rin at the hotel. Then, Motomi notices Akira is wounded and learns that he was in a fight and that he has gotten a tag. Motomi tells Akira he should have his wound treated. And just like Dagger said, this is the first time Motomi kinda flirts with Akira and then tells him it was just a joke... (yeah right)

In between you are taken to Kiriwar and Gunzi, who drag the silver-haired man’s body (the thing of which I’m uncertain is if the man was actually dead, I’m pretty sure he was barely alive) to Arbitro’s Castle. Some guards take the body to Arbitro’s room where he looks at it, examines it closely, and concludes he likes the man. The silver hair, he says, even if it is dyed, is both strange and appealing. And the scene ends.

After that they both go back to the Hotel. When they enter Rin gets them some first aids (buys is using pig tags) and Motomi treats Akira’s wounded shoulder. Meanwhile Rin and Keisuke learn that Akira has gotten a tag, and the scene pretty much goes like the scene in ZERO’s manga, but I’ll explain it anyway since it’s a significant moment in the whole Keisuke/Akira relationship. Rin congratulates Akira, but Akira feels Keisuke is bound to ask him if he killed his opponent. In his head Akira anticipates Keisuke’s reaction and is waiting for it. But then Keisuke only says “congratulations”.

That makes Akira snap, and he starts yelling at Keisuke, telling him not to force himself to smile, telling him to speak his mind, and to ask him. ‘You want to ask if I killed my opponent!” he says. Keisuke basically answers that he is okay with it if Akira is okay with it, but that only makes Akira angrier. Rin tells Akira to calm down, but he doesn’t listen. He can’t stop himself, he tells Keisuke “but you aren’t okay with it” and Keisuke says nothing. Then Akira tells Keisuke that he is irritating him now (just like in the ZERO’s manga) and Keisuke runs from the hotel, hurt.

At first I didn’t understand Akira’s fight with Keisuke, but now I think I get something. Akira is feeling awful about his victory over the silver-haired man, especially after watching the Punisher’s taking him away. So at that point he wanted to be told off, he wanted someone to show they shared his feelings. He wanted someone to tell him that what he had done was awful. So when Keisuke congratulates him, he believes Keisuke’s lying. He wants Keisuke to tell him that he feels disgusted with what he’s done, so he is angry when Keisuke says he’s okay with it. That’s what I think.

After that Rin tells Akira off for what he just did and says he is going to go looking for Keisuke. Akira simply tells them to let it be, that Keisuke will probably return. Motomi grabs Rin’s shoulder and stops him, arguing that it is really dangerous to go out now. This only makes Rin angrier, he says that then it’s really important to find Keisuke quickly. Motomi tells Rin to calm down, that he is going to look for Keisuke himself in the morning. Finally, Rin accepts the fact and calms down.

Then you are taken to the scene where Takeru meets Nano. Nano asks him if he wants a power beyond comparision, and seduces him into taking Line.

That’s were you get to hear Takeru’s story, which is really sad. There’s a flashback to the last time he saw his lil sister before coming to Toshima, and how she gives him her crucifix. When Nano is gone he recaalls his words, that he could use his power now to defeat all those who look down on him. ‘Those who look down on me’ he thinks, and he immediately thinks of Akira.

After that, you are back with Akira & friends (LOL). Rin tries to cheer Akira up, distracting him by showing him the pics he has. I think, Rin shows him pics of him and his friends from when they were in Bl@ster. That’s when Akira learns Rin was a Bl@ster participant once. I think he also asks Rin why did he come to Toshima, but I don’t remember what Rin tells him (of course he doesn’t tell him it’s because of Shiki). Then Akira goes to bed. Akira dreams about his first encounter with Nano from when he was at the orphanage. Then he gets up and feels down because of what happened between Keisuke and him.

Next thing, Akira goes out of the Hotel, hoping to find Keisuke.

Then, there’s another scene change, you are taken back to the coffee shop, where Keisuke is drowning in self pity (ha ha, sorry, he is!).

He is devastated by what Akira has said. ‘Akira’s words’, he thinks, ‘I can’t forget Akira’s words’. Then he goes into a flashback, recalling his story with Akira since the very beggining. This is where Keisuke’s route really starts, because that doesn’t happen in the other routes. Keisuke recalls being really lonely at the orphanage and being constantly bullied by the other kids. But Akira, he says, protected him, and thus,, they became friends. After leaving the orphanage, they start living in the same city and that’s when he meets this ‘girl’ . He doesn’t say anything other that there was this girl romantically interested in him and that he started going out with her, mostly because of his wish to escape his own loneliness. He felt happy with her, but somehow the loneliness didn’t go away. But then, one day, she asked him to go to her house the next day. She says her parents are not going to be away (you can figure where this is going, ne?). And so Keisuke tells her he’s gonna be there. After leaving the factory in which he works he encounters Akira on his way back home. After some small talk, Akira asks Keisuke if he wants to go to Bl@ster, to watch. Keisuke gladly accepts to go with Akira, but when he asks Akira tells him they have to go tomorrow. He feels really sorry and asks Akira if it can be on another date, but Akira says it’s not possible. He turns down the invitation, saying that he has a previous appointment for the next day, but he feels awful because he really wanted to go with Akira. So Akira leaves, and the next day Keisuke goes to the girl’s house.

This is where the interesting part starts...

Keisuke talks to the woman, she prepares dinner for them and a cake too.

But as soon as they are in bed he holds the girl’s hand and he thinks ‘Akira’s hand must be this small’ ... then as he is with the girl in bed, all he can think about is Akira and heis not able to understand why. All h can do is compare Akira to the girl. ‘Akira’s neck isn’t this thin, Akira’s body is not this soft...’ and so on. He ends his relationship with the girl the next day.

He starts thinking about Akira all the time, even dreaming of him after that. He says that the more he thinks about it, the less he understands. He feels a sweet pain whenever he thinks of Akira.

After that he remmebers a thing he saw. When he went with Akira to watch Bl@ster, he once saw Akira with a woman. He remembers seeing the woman leaning close to Akira and throwing her arms at his neck. Of course, Keisuke has ‘dark feelings swirling inside at the sight.’ But Akira pushes the woman away. And Keisuke feels relieved.

Then he finishes the story by saying that he first thought at that time “Akira... I might like him”

Of course he tells himself that Akira is a man too. (Hello, that’s the interesting part, Keisuke! Why do you think people are reading this?) And that he has no idea that he has come to like men. But then, it is impossible for Keisuke to hold suc feelings for any oher men. Or any woman.

He decides he wants to be on Akira’s side, even if it will be painful sometimes to be only a friend.

After that, Keisuke notices a small ampoule beside him. Line.

He then thinks about it, pretty much like this “I am weak, that’s why Akira is mad at me. I can’t protect Akira, I can’t be useful to Akira, I can’t be on Akira’s side.” Still, he doubts, he hesitates, is Line really the solution? But then, he thinks about something and that makes up his mind “If it helps to forget about Akira, then anything’s fine”

At that point I had to stop the game and get my broken heart fixed... Ok, let’s move on with the story...

So Keisuke takes Line. And of course, all he can still think off is Akira, and all the memories he has of him. ‘Akira, Akira, Akira’
He remembers Akira’s angry face. Akira’s cold face. ‘Akira who is not looking at me’
He asks himself why he can only see such faces.

‘I want to see Akira’s smiling face. I want to see Akira’s crying face. I want to see Akira’s bewildered face. I want to see Akira’s embarrassed face. I want to see Akira’s shocked face.’ And finally ‘I want to see Akira’s pain face.’

Then we are back with Aki-chan. He is thinking that the best place to go looking for Keisuke is the club. Even if Keisuke is not there, there’s a lot of people there, ad somebody might have seen Keisuke. So he heads off to the club.

Similar to what happens on ZERO’s manga, Akira finds the club all messed up. There’s blood verywhere, ceiling, floor and walls are dyed in red. After the description of how the body parts and rests of flesh mix up on the pool of blood is fully acomplished (oh, yeah... the name of the game is True Blood, remember? Well, they meant that), Takeru shows up. He is on Line now, which Akira notices, and starts beating the crap out of Akira. The scene then goes as in ZERO’ manga, at some point in the fight (if you can actually call it a fight) Takeru grabs Akira’s neck and starts strangling him. But then again, he has the very very bad idea of bitting Akira’s lip, and licking his blood.

Result: Takeru falls to the floor, seizing and in a horrendous pain, giving Akira the opportunity to run away. Takeru follows him and Akira enters an alley. Unluckily for Takeru, this is where good ol’ Kurosuke first appears.

You aren’t told yet it is actually Keisuke (or Kurosuke) who attacks Takeru, but, hey, one can tell. Keisuke (I’ll just call him Keisuke all the way, you know that I mean Kurosuke) takes Takeru’s knife and uses it to injure Takeru’s arm. Of course, Takeru recognizes Keisuke, but all you hear him say is “You!”. Then while Takeru is frightened and on the floor, you can see Keisuke’s shadow on him. So Keisuke grabs his head and, well, crushes it. So, Takeru, R.I.P.

So we are back with Akira. He is still hiding on this alley and he hears a scream. He thinks it was Takeru’s voice but he is not sure. Then he wanders in the streets thinking over what has happened til he founds a place to sit down and he falls asleep.

When he wakes up, he makes his way back to the club’s front and runs into a bunch of men that are talking about what happened in the club. I don’t remember how or why but one of the guys talks to Akira and grabs his shoulder. Akira doesn’t want to have anything to do with anyone at this moment and tells the man to let him go. The man doesn’t and Akira punches him. And a fight between the man and Akira starts. Akira wins the fight eventually and takes the man’s tags.

When he is walking through a dark alley he hears a voice he doesn’t recognize, and before you notice it, we have good ol’ Keisuke standing before Akira’s eyes.

Now, full detail description of the first Kurosuke/Akira encounter:

Akira immediately notices there’s something wrong with Keisuke. Even if the voice and the image are the same, he doesn’t recognize the man that stands before him as his chidhood friend. All Keisuke says is ‘It’s been a while’

Akira asks him if he is okay, because he feels the change in the atmosphere.

Keisuke asks Akira if he was looking for him. He says that he wanted to meet Akira. Then he approaches Akira, who instinctively steps back. Keisuke mockingly asks Akira what’s wrong and tells him not to run away, after all it must be a good thing to see Keisuke if Akira was looking for him. After that Keisuke grabs Akira’s left shoulder with his left arm and his face with his right. While Akira struggles, Keisuke’s face approaches him slowly. Keisuke tells him to say something. Akira looks into his eyes, but the look of before is gone, leaving behind a vivid flame of hatred.

Keisuke asks “are you frightened, Akira?” then adds “It’s the first time I see it, Akira’s frightened face...”

Keisuke says that now he feels relieved.

After that Keisuke touches Akira’s lip with one finger and says “What happened? Your lip is cut... poor thing...”

Akira asks Keisuke what does he mean by ‘relieved’. Keisuke simply says “Akira, did you see? The club” After that, Keisuke says it was his debut.

Akira can’t understand at first. He asks Keisuke “you?” and Keisuke says “ so you did see it”. To that, Akira only asks why. And Keisuke only answers “why? There is no reason... it was just my debut.”

Akira wonders again if this man is really Keisuke. Keisuke says that it’s awesome, to see Akira’s shocked expression. ‘Ain’t Akira cute’ he adds.

Keisuke states that he desires to see Akira’s face and asks himself out loud if that makes him weak. Akira panicks and tells him to let go and struggles to escape.

Keisuke laughs and explains that it is not right for him to let him go, because he is stronger now. He then slightly bits Akira’s upper lip.

Keisuke’s lips slide down Akira’s cheek and jaw. He tells Akira “you are so afraid, don’t worry, there’s no need to be scared” and adds “after all, I’ll kill you” After saying that Keisuke parts from Akira, and leaves.

Akira, of course is shocked at Keisuke’s change (remember he doesn’t know his friend is on Line). He swears.

After rumiating over Keisuke’s words and actions Akira decides to go back to the Hotel. In his way, he encounters Rin though, who asks him to return to the hotel with him. At the hotel, Akira remains silent while Rin and Motomi discuss over the incident at the Club. Motomi also mentions that there’s been some killings unrelated to Igura, which mades Akira wonder if it was Keisuke’s doing. At some point Motomi asks Akira if he met Keisuke, but Akira hesitates on the answer. He doesn’t know how to explain and he doesn’t know if he should talk about it at all. Rin decides later that he is going to get some solid and tells Akira to wait t the Hotel. When Rin is gone, Akira stands up and tells Motomi he is going to get some fresh air before Rin gets back.

It seems that Akira doesn’t learn that he shouldn’t go outside for fresh air...

At this moment Akira runs into Inu, who holds a white envelope in his mouth. Inu in all his doggy behaviour (LOL) jumps Akira and licks his face and does other dog-like things. Akira pushes him away and Inu leaves. That’s when Akira grabs the envelope ad reads the letter it contained. It’s an invitation to go to Arbitro’s Castle, but it doesn’t say what for, only says that if Akira goes, Arbitro will tell him something about a friend. So Akira immediately wonders if this has to do with Keisuke, since he went with Keisuke to Arbitro’s Castle twice. So if Arbitro talks about a friend of Akira’s, it must be Keisuke. He also considers that this migth be a trap, but decides to consult it with Rin and Motomi and starts to make his way back to the Hotel. But when he is walking through the main street, his eyes lay on the coffee shop and he remembers Keisuke, and the thing that brought the two of the to Toshima. While Akira is lost in though somebody hits him and he loses consciousness (gee, I wonder who that is).

At the risk of dying of a nose bleed I’ll try to give a full detail description of the ero-scenes, if you don’t like Yaoi that hard, then... what the Hell are you doing playing Togainu no Chi?!?!?!? No, seriously!

When Akira wakes up, he is inside the coffe shop, and the figure standing before him is Keisuke’s, who asks “Is the princess awake now?” (ß that was like LMFAO)

Now we are off to the full detail description of the second encounter between Kurosuke and Akira.

After that, Keisuke more or less mocks Akira lil more and tells him not to stare so much. “Do you know why I’m here? Do you understand, Akira?” and then closes his eyes and says “It’s the smell. Akira’s smell. Smells good”

Akira asks him if he is the one killing people in Toshima, the killer Motomi mentioned. Of course, Keisuke answers affirmatively, he says that there are weak people and fools all over the place, so he amuses himself by killing them. After that he tells if he remembers the guy with blue hair that tried to take his tag, and throws Takeru’s tags and crucifix to the floor. That’s when Akira notices Keisuke is on Line, which Keisuke admits. However Akira refuses to believe that Keisuke took Line voluntarily. He says it must have been an accident, which angers Keisuke, who grabs Akira’s face and asks him to repeat it. Akira repeats it and Keisuke grabs Akira by his hair and throws him to the floor. He kicks Akira’s head while he’s still on the floor and says something about Akira being really selfish. He says he’s not going to follow Akira, and that he has his own ways now. He asks Akira if he hates him, and if Akira has been trying to be better than him only to look down on him. Akira denies it, of course, and Keisuke tells him to shut up. Then he laughs and tells Akira what he already said to himself, that he has only seen Akira’s angry face and cold face. He says that now he wants to see Akira’s crying face, suffering face and frightened face, and finally Akira’s dying face. Then hits Akira again. Keisuke pins Akira’s arms above his head, hitting him if he resists, then traces Akira’s neck with his forefinger, and slips the forefinger down to his t-shirt. He keeps talking, whispering into Akira’s ear and biting his ear, then kissing him by force. Of course, Akira (who is half naive-half stupid ^_^) thinks it is only a way of mocking him, of making him suffer. Akira bites Keisuke, and Keisuke hits Akira, adding that ‘ it wouldn’t be interesting if he didn’t resist’ (I agree with that!). He bits Akira’s neck and asks him if it hurts, and if the pain will make him cry. He then lifts Akira’s shirt and jacket and plays around with Akira’s nipples, watching his face all the time, mocking him, and asking him if he likes it.

Akira tells him to let him go, and Keisuke tells him not to get too excited, because there’s still time. He takes out the knife that Rin gave him and threats to cut Akira in the chest. After that he grabs Akira’s hair again, and kicks him a bit more before pulling his pants and *everything* down. He whistles and comments on the ‘good view’, then kicks Akira again. Keisuke wipes away the tears of pain from Akira’s eyes. After that he helds Akira’s hands above his head again and spreads his legs. And, ladies and gentleman, it is only there that Akira realizes what Keisuke is going to do. Told you, half naive-half stupid.

He cries out Keisuke’s name, but Keisuke ignores, and takes out a screwdriver from his jacket’s pocket.

So Keisuke asks Akira ‘What do you think it’s for?’ and yes it is for what you all are thinking. So Keisuke pushes the screwdriver inside Akira, who tells him to stop it. And Keisuke simply answers “no”. So well, Keisuke starts raping Akira with the screwdriver, all the time talking about how incredible Akira’s expressions are and saying things like “does it hurt? Endure it, because everything goes inside Akira with a little effort” and “ how does it feel?”.

After a while Keisuke mutters “is it possible to take another one as well, then?” (just imagine both Akira’s and the person playing the game expressions). Of course he takes another screwdriver and pushes it inside Akira too. Akira, obviously, is in unbearable pain then. So here comes a choice that can continue with Keisuke’s route or lead to the first Keisuke bad ending. The choices are that Akira either endures the pain, or can’t endure it any longer and screams. If you choose the latter you’ll get Keisuke’s bad ending, which I’ll cover later if you want me to. However if you choose to endure the pain, Keisuke molests Akira a lil more before finally pulling the screwdrivers out. Akira feels barely relieved at that moment, little does he realize that it is not over yet. Keisuke finally grabs Akira’s hair and has his way with him, with Akira asking him to stop all the time.

At some point Keisuke grabs Akira’s neck and starts to strangle him, and he even comments on how Akira has tightened up (Keisuke, you sadist!). Finally Akira loses consciousness from lack of oxygen and thus the end of the ero-scene, hope you enjoyed the reading... or were traumatized to death, I’m not sure which one was the aim of TnC’s writters, anyway.

Well after that, when Akira awakes, Keisuke is no longer around. He tries to get up, but of course, the pain reminds him of what happened the night before.

There’s a few seconds of blissfull ignorance before he fully remembers. After that he thinks something like ‘all of this... because of Line?’ (this moment is really heart breaking)

After that he reaches out his jacket and remembers Arbitro’s letter, so he heads off to Arbitro’s Castle. It is at this point that Akira realizes Keisuke’s gone forever, and he experiences loss for the first time.

He also goes to confirm that Takeru has been killed by his friend, and finds his dead body.

After that, in the main street he runs into a crowd, where the punishers are killing someone, like always. At some point, Gunzi and Kiriwar see Akira and recognize him. They say the Prince (Arbitro, LMAO) asked them to fetch Akira and they grab him and take him to Arbitro’s Castle.

When Akira goes inside the Castle, Arbitro receives him and invites him to eat with him. Before eating, he tells Akira he wants to have some of his blood, and he explains that his blood has a strange effect on Line users. Akira’s blood is taken out by Arbitro’s subordinate.

He says Akira’s blood rejects Line, but he doesn’t explain any more. Akira immediately lightens up, thinking that there will be possibly a way to help Keisuke but his hopes are killed a minute after.

At this point, you get the other choice that determines whether you get Arbitro’s bad ending or continue with Keisuke’s route. The choice is whether Akira eats the bread Arbitro offers him or not ( he has many delicious foods put on the table, but even if Akira is starving he doesn’t trust Arbitro). If he eats it you get Arbitro’s bad ending (the bread is drugged), if you want I’ll explain this ending later.

Arbitro tells him that he had to go to the Club after the incident and that he ahd a subordinate follow Akira and that he has been informed of Akira’s first encounter with Kurosuke. Keisuke’s blood is diferent, he says, (because he was a test subject too) and the reaction he would have to Akira’s blood is unknown.

After the conversation is ended Arbitro offers Akira to work with him, use his blood for profit, more or less. Akira refuses and leaves.

When he is thinking over what Arbitro has told him, it starts to rain in Toshima, and Akira stays in the rain, enjoying the feeling.

While he is in that state, Keisuke appears again. He more or less tells Akira that he is going to die now, and makes a remark (I can’t remember it exactly) about what happened last night between them. At some point Akira answers to Keisuke that he has no desire to die yet and Akira’s monologue starts.

He tells Keisuke that because he has always been on his side, he never noticed how much he cared about him. But after having lost him all of a sudden, he has realized that Keisuke is all he wants. He also says he doesn’t want to die yet, because he wants to leave Toshima together with Keisuke. And he says that he regrets what he said to him back at the Hotel.

(There’s some point in the conversation where you get another choice to answer Keisuke or not, if you answer him Akira says he can’t understand Keisuke and you are off to the other Keisuke’s bad ending, if Akira says nothing, then you keep going in Keisuke’s route)

Ok, Keisuke (or Kurosuke) doesn’t take this change in Akira all that well, at first he is shocked and speechless but then accuses Akira of lying. Akira denies and reafirms that he wants to leave Toshima with Keisuke. Keisuke tells him to stop it, to shut up and takes out Takeru’s knife, which Akira recognizes. Then the fight between Akira and Keisuke starts.

Bad Ending Two (the ending point I am taking Keisuke from)

Ummm, I have to replay the second Keisuke's bad ending to give you the details, but it's mostly like space957 said. In both Keisuke's bad endings Akira says something that makes KeiKei mad. Both times Keisuke's answer is "you don't understand a thing, do you" or something of the sort. So basically he's angry because Akira doesn't realize about Keisukes's feelings for him. (Akira's naivete gets him killed, so beware! You never know when your best friend who has a secret crush on you will get hooked on a dangerous drug and try to kill you because you didn't notice his feelings!)

It is in the rain scene when Akira gets killed.

The only thing is that if Akira remains silent this leads to the good ending. But if Akira speaks he says something between the lines of 'I dont know why you are doing this to me' and that infuriates Keisuke.

If you go for the bad ending Keisuke argues with Akira that he doesn't understand a thing because he has never been the one who is looked down on. Akira says it's true, he doesn't understand how Keisuke feels. And short after that Keisuke laughs at Akira and takes out tw other Line ampoules, saying that he'll have more fun killing Akira that way. He also asks Akira how he wants to get killed, if he wants his skin to be torn apart, or if he wants each finger to be ripped off... etc. Eventually they start fighting.

While in the good ending Akira remembers that Takeru also said that Akira didn't know how it was to be looked donw on. So he tells Keisuke that never before he had felt regret. But he regrets having argued with Keisuke. Because he had gotten accustomed to Keisuke being by his side, it's now that he realizes that he wants to be beside Keisuke too. Keisuke calls him a liar, to what Akira calmly replies he's not lying. Akira ends up saying he wants to leave Toshima with Keisuke, who asks him to stop talking and thus, the fight begins.

But they fight in both routes, the difference is that in the bad ending Keisuke bites Akira's hand and Akira's blood doesn't take any effect on him. Akira thinks his blood is going to kill Keisuke so he lets his guard down. He actually closes his eyes and waits for the worst but nothing happens and Keisuke takes this oportunity to take out Takeru's knife and stab Akira (I think first on the chest). Then it comes the vivid description of how Keisuke stabs Akira everywhere (chest, thighs, legs, feet, arms, stomach, etc, etc, etc). All form Akira's POV, he sees Keisuke pulling something form his stomach and blood everywhere. I remember clearly that Keisuke said Akira was beautiful while dyed all red (I agree ^_^). Well, then Keisuke pulls out Akira's bowels (is that the word? I think it is... *checks dictionary.com* yes it's that!) and acts all thrilled and happy. He says 'it's incredible, Akira... so thin and warm'

Well just in case you haven't thrown up by this time (my stomach did feel uneasy while reading it, not because of the blood but because of Keisuke's crazy remarks) Akira, who of course is dying, starts loosing consciousness as he watchs Keisuke play around with his insides.

What really traumatizes you for life is that when the screen starts to go dark, Keisuke whispers in Akira's ear... "Akira...I love you"

That was like... OMG.

I really was traumatized at that. It is the first time that a fiction story upsets me so much. Togainu no Chi has many interesting effects on me XD.

For those that know a bit of japanese and those who don't too, Keisuke uses the phrase "Ai shitteru" in this ending, while in the others he just says "Daisuki" or "Suki" when he tells Akira he loves him. As some of you know Ai shitteru means I love U, plainly, while Suki and Daisuki can mean 'like' or 'love'. That was something I noticed right away.
