Why must people insist on screaming when an animal sticks its head through an open car window? If a giraffe stuck its head through my sunroof and licked me with it's long, black tongue, I don't think I would scream.
Because humans are so used to being the only living thing beyond specific-interest pets, so that anything that doesn't fit into their safe, secure, arrogant little bubble, it frightens and confuses them. That's also why people will travel hundreds of miles just to see some -cows-. ;P
Agreed. Just interesting, since that's all they show on television, like on AFV are people freaking out at drive through zoos and things. I would love to feed a giraffe through my sunroof :)
Sounds like the weekend from hell. i loved the big about the head tentacles. :D
I have been stuck in the mud before, and it's not fun. Actually it was the East Anglian quicksand dunes near Hunstanton. Slightly more dangerous. I was able to pull myself out though, or I'd not by sitting here typing this.
Oog! Yea definitely not quicksand. There are a few places around the state here that do have quicksand, though I've had a mind to stay away from it. I watched too many Tarzan Movies when I was a button buck :)
