When do you need to make a decision? (And when are Mark's job interviews?)

We have to accept before April 24th, and the first interview is April 25th. There's a chance that even if Mark gets it, it would take until this time next year to hire and start work, so we may be able to go to Japan and do both. ?

Could you not do Aikido in Japan? I imagine there's probably tons of dojo. The only problem I can see with this is maybe a language barrier? How much verbal communication do you need to learn a martial art?

I was advised by my sensei against it, because of the lack of understanding of 'heavy' north american bodies - people aren't trained to be as careful about application of the technique. He suggested that I study iaido and/or taichi, either way, it doen't add a lot of weight to the decision, you're right.
