I found this essay when i was clearing my cupboard.
I made it when I was in form 5.
Today, out of the blue my English teacher asks us to write a unique essay. In the essay we must include at least ten idioms. Then, she asks us to finish the essay by 10.40 am. So, we put on our thinking cap and started writing on our essays. Few minutes later, I finished my essay. The idioms that I have included inside my essay are over the moon, head over heels, think the world of, to built castles in the air and let the cat out of the bag. After that, she asks some of us to volunteer to read our essays. All of a sudden the class went silent. We were in a pretty kettle of fish. None of us want to read our essays in front of the class. Finally, when no one wants to volunteer, my teacher randomly call out our names. The first person she called out was Stephanie’s. When she started to read her essays we were all ears. Her essay was very inspiring. Next, it was Tracy’s turn to read hers. Her essay was about a forbidden love and it was very romantic. Then it was Amelia’s and Beatrice’s turn to read their essays. Both of their essays were very interesting. It was my turn next. So, I reluctantly went in front of the classroom and read my essay. It was Shelby’s turn to read next. Her essay was inspired from a book that she read. As soon as Shelby finished reading her essay, the bell rang. My other classmates were relieved because they were safe by the bell.
I edited a few mistakes....
